Android by default takes any images/audio/media and puts them in the gallery. The game files contain a .nomedia file to prevent the images from going to your gallery. Depending when your phone synchs for images and from when you extract the zip and the .nomedia file is placed in your folder, you might get images.

They should go away though

How to Reset your Sprite Pull:

1. Open your menu in game and select Options.

3. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
4. Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
5. Save your game and close it.
6. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.

But if you are installing the custom sprites, that will help. That isn’t ALL the sprites, but fusion sprites will come back with what you are doing

That is what happens when your save gets corrupted

No telling what corrupted it, but it is usually due to closing the game as it is still saving or auto save trying to save as your game is closing

ONLY use the files from our Android guide. They are specific to Android. You aren't using it because in your screenshot the name is InfiniteFusion. The folder for android is named InfiniteFusionAndroid

the installation of the game comes with 0 custom sprites. as you play, you get custom sprites downloaded. So reinstalling will delete these sprites and you have to redownload them. So that is why I said reinstalling just makes it worse

Lightweight Installer:

1. Open your Game Folder
2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)
3. Double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat

2. Delete your Data folder (This will not delete your saved data)

Honestly if you can still open the game just fine, easiest way to update would be to redownload the game and use the new files instead of the old folder

Your save file is saved in a folder in wine. So you won’t lose your save but if you uninstall homebrew or wine, you would need to make a copy of your save to avoid losing it

Let me write up steps really quick. It is actually quick to do

2. In your downloads folder, extract the files
3. Open the new InfiniteFusion folder
4. Right click Game.exe and open in Wine Stable
   All Done 🙂

You dont need to move your save or anything. It is just redownloading the up to date files and opening the game from the new folder. The moving of the save is only if you are going to try and uninstall homebrew and wine

Those are your backups. You can store them somewhere or delete them if you want. Just whatever you want to do with them

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Hey so not sure if it would be in tech support or game help, but I'm trying to get custom sprites to show up for the triple evo's and not having much luck. I see that there are variant sprites of the different triple fusions, but my game doesn't seem to have them. I downloaded the full sprite pack from the discord and followed the instructions to move it into the graphics folder, then started the game and replaced sprites with new ones when prompted.

Then I start my save and head to the sprite variant page for the triple fusions and it still says there aren't any variants available.

Hey @swift mango! Do you need to install sprites? No. The game by default install sprites as you encounter Pokemon over the internet. No need to install anything.

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.

Overwriting can still work on Android - that's how I stay up to date, albeit I normally just go to the Github's releases branch and download the .zip of the repo to get the code if the Android .zip with the optimized maps from Megaman isn't out. IIRC, this may be an issue with using the latest JoiPlay builds instead of the ones listed in the guide - I think when I got this issue when I first updated to 6.2.0, I had also installed the latest JoiPlay and RPGM Plugin builds to test them as well, and I think rolling those back to the versions listed in the guide was the fix.

🤣 Considering my Reddit username is in the Android guide for PIF as having done some troubleshooting/support... 🤣 The only reason I started updating PIF the way I normally do is because I tried to figure out how the older 5.3.x installer/updater worked so I could manually replicate it on Android. I have used Megaman's .zips lately instead to get the optimized maps, but since the overall folder structure in it is basically the same as the .zip of the release branch repo, I still just overwrote my game folder.

second: as stated above, you have more technical knowledge than the average user here, most people dont even know the android guide exists, neither realize the only working versions of joiplay and rpg maker - as well as the actual game files - are there .. most people follow random insturctions from suspicious fake websites because its the "official PIF website" (which is a fake itself)

also, megaman also tries to get an updater for mobile .. so maybe you could work together to find a solution which works for android users so they dont have to redownload the game files on every update

i remember he was looking into that, although my current coding knowledge is out of date (context: i studied programming in college in the early 1990s). deciphering the .bat for the older installer was relatively easy, but setting up git on my tablet was too annoying even for me to replicate the differential pulls the .bat does to update the game.
