you might have good internet but you need stable internet, milliseconds of disconnections can already cause this .. or your antivirus is blocking the connection to the repo ...

Just letting you know, Steam Deck has a known issue when swapping back and forth that keybinds will reset and potentially you have to remap all the buttons

In general going from regular to preloaded has separate keybindings, but for some reason Steam Deck messes that up and you have to remap all keys

We found actually you don't even have to use preloaded for offline. You can play the regular game just have the setting Download Sprites in options turned off and you should be good

so might be better to just do that and avoid the hassle 🙂

rematching trainers skip the whole phase of distributing money so payday doesn't return anything.

You'd have to use pay day on 1st time battles with trainers or use them on wild encounters. Pay day gives you money = 5 * Your Pokemon's Level

typically windows defender is good enough, if you want to be more save, install malwarebytes and let it scan, after its done you can uninstall it again ... but windows defender does a good job already

Preloaded is a lesser version of the game just to get it to work for users. You need to actively be updating sprites. It really isn;t a form of long term play. Just a means to get it to work.

Also gonna omit tile passability errors because they're mostly minor and they tend to be simple to fix, but a pain in the ass to check you didn't break anything by walking over every newly altered tile to make sure you didn't softlock anything.

Cause once or twice on older versions a particular fusion would allow breeding with a Ditto, creating a fused egg that spawns the base evolution of both parts of the fusion in the proper arrangement.

Hey I'm a Mac user and I'm trying to install the game. I've followed all the steps in the google doc guide and video guide for installation and have downloaded the game file. However, when I try to open the game file using Archive Utility, it creates another file called InfinitieFusion.rar.cpgz, and when I try to open the .cpgz file, it just creates a duplicate of the InfiniteFusion.rar file. I have also tried using WinZip to open the file but it didn't look like it was working/doing anything so I closed it after 10 minutes or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated especially since I'm pretty bad with computers.

No error. The battle continues as normal, when thunder punch is used it freezes for a half frame on the punch animation and then black and im kicked to the Joiplay main menu

Hey @floral tide! This game is developed ONLY for Windows. Joiplay is a workaround to get Android to work, but iOS will not work.

Check our Official Android guide HERE. If you didn't follow this guide, DELETE and UNINSTALL everything.

Yeah unfortunately seems like your steam deck has the non steam game bug. This one is hard to troubleshoot because only some Steam Decks get this bug.

Try this:

1. Open steam in desktop mode
2. Right click the game, and remove from Steam Library
3. On steam, click the button + Add Game on the bottom left and click Add Non Steam Game
4. Click Browse and navigate to Game.exe and click OK
5. Go back to gaming mode and set compatibility again to Proton GE and try opening the game

If you are having sudden performance issues out of nowhere, restart your computer (no joke). Don’t shut down the computer as it just puts it to sleep. Use the restart option to free up processes on your computer.

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key

seems like your PC struggling to load the textures for some reason.

Delete your game folder (this doesn't delete your save) and Download the game from here: Link
Extract it into a new folder and open Game.exe from it and see if it is better.

If the issue still persists after, your computer is the issue. It cannot load the tile sets. Look to update your graphics driver or not play in full screen

Ok so essentially your computer is having issues with the game. Mentions of PhyFS mean you need to setup preloaded for the game to work
