sometimes, it saves a text file in your save folder. If you open your game folder, double click on the SaveFiles shortcut to take you to where your save files are.

Sometimes the game captures it in a text file named "errorlog"

classic mode gives you gen 1-2 most of the game until you get later in the game. You can still unlock all 470 base pokemon, just later in game

remix mode is a harder mode and gives you access to other gen pokemon sooner

if you open the game by using Game.exe, you are dynamic

if you using game-preloaded, you using preloaded. You would know if you are using preloaded because you need to download 3 gb of sprites and you need to set it up to make it work

You tried to enable debug mode illegitimately in the scripts, that doesn’t work anymore. Delete the Data folder in the game folder and rerun the INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat file in the game folder

Hey @sudden vine! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hello, is there any reason I should be getting the "Error opening OpenAL device" error when I have my headset not only plugged in but on and I have the entire time? I checked windows sound settings and my headset is the default device. So I'm just a bit confused. It was working fine yesterday and I tried to open the game today and it's been doing this. I've tried restarting my PC and it still does the same thing. I've also tried unplugging them and plugging them back in. Same issue. It's a wireless headset. I've tested that it works fine with every other game. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it does the same thing.

Any new game update, you need to rerandomize the settings you have enabled.

If you have only pokemon randomized, you need to Reshuffle Wild Pokemon

This is done in the Pokemon Center -> Update Man (guy in black suit) -> Click Advanced Settings -> You will see the Reshuffle options

This will fix the issue going forward, but sprites already messed up you might have to fix yourself from the Pokedex.

Hey @paper light! Are you having trouble starting the game? If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on your computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the thousands of sprites you imported.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey, when I evolve my Charmeleon/Nidorino into Charmeleon/Nidoking, it loses it's HA.

It goes from Hustle (Nidorino's HA) to Blaze (Charmeleon's standard). Didn't happen on a previous playthrough (on an older version)

just so people in the future know how to read tracebacks, since people in general seem to be jumping to conclusions a lot based on seeing "debug" in the traceback:

What a traceback does is show which lines of code were read BEFORE the crash and to be read for bottom to top.

• main calls load_scripts_from_folder
• main initialized the main functions of itself: mainFunction & mainFunctionDebug
• IntroScreen starts up
• GeneralUtils starts up
• RPG_cache gets started by GeneralUtils
• Crash when it does not find all base sprites in the cache folder and has no connection. (preloaded so no connection possible)
  Error message at the top is then the most important thing to look at.
