Because this gallery thing is something I've been working on figuring out.

I play on mobile and mine disappeared from the gallery after installing the game after about 3-4 days.

I thought maybe it was because I didn't have the folder I had it downloaded into wasn't synced to my drives.

Yeah. The game is the same as PC, your just using Joiplay to basically read and run exe files

You'd just have to extract them into the graphics folder is all

Steam Deck has all of the files packaged together. It wouldn't make sense to have you guys try and move 311k sprites on Steam Deck

If you followed the guide and when you open the Game it just closes right away, follow these steps:

1. Go to desktop mode
2. Open Discovery Store
3. Search for q4wine (you should have installed per the video)
4. Click on it and click Launch to open it. You need to go through the setup wizard.
5. After that go back to Gaming mode and try reopening the game.

Unfortunately that issue is only affecting a small number of Steam Deck users and we don't have a fix. I can reproduce the issue so I am not sure how to fix. It isn't an issue with the game files, it is something on the Steam Deck missing somewhere

Hey, I have been playing through the game on randomizer mode, and I recently turned off static encounter randomization since I want to get the legendaries to progress quests in the story, but I already randomized my articuno encounter when I first got the ice pick. Is there any way the cheat in an articuno so that I can progress the quest to get the azure flute? I don't want to cheat in any other way but I'm pretty sure its not possible for me to get an articuno anymore

I personally would not recommend it either. but if you do: I recommend not using preloaded, but rather just use the game.exe

That way you do not need any sprite downloads. It will automatically download single sprites as you encounter them

these sprites will ALWAYS be the newest sprites.

Yeah its an internet issue on your end. either unstable connection or virus-protection blocking the sprites

if you use the version that I sent you, and launch game-preloaded.exe instead of game.exe everything should be fixed.

Megamans video has the most recent game files for mac, so that would be one option.

Reset your sprite pull (you have to be connected to the internet):

1. Turn off Download Sprites option in the setting inside the game. Like where your game volume is. This is the 4th option
2. Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
3. Go back to Settings.
4. Turn option back on.

I would recommend after doing this save your game, completely close the game and reopen and try again.

Idk the reason it's happening now, could be selection bias because there are fewer of the other errors + it's the winter break for students = more reports. Some things that might fix it are using git fetch --depth=1 so it grabs just the last commit, that brings the download down from 625MiB to 500MiB. Or switching the installer to a newer version of MinGit might do it. Or just having the batch script loop a few times if the download fails.

Yeah, totally just depends on your computer. If you go to Graphics/CustomBattlers, all those images that are in that folder being sorted into a folder. Once he sees zero images there, and they are all in folders that’s when it is completed.

That save file folder is just a shortcut

You were told to delete what's inside of it

Now you have to find the save files the hard way. C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\infinitefusion

You will have to enable hidden files to see appdata in that folder

this is a different error. You need to update to the latest version of the game 6.0.5. Go to the pokemon center, talk to update man, select fix game

Hi! Just downloaded this on mobile using the link in the download channel which sends me to MediaFire and I grab the 5.3.1.2 mobile download.
Got everything up and running, but the tiles are impossible to navigate blacked or glitched out.

On startup, my game notifies me there is a 6.0version to download. Would using the 6.0version resolve my issue? And where do I get that for mobile?

Hey @runic jacinth! This game is not made for mobile! The only workaround is to install JoiPlay, but any performance issues, bugs, or issues with Android are not fixable. No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Hey @blissful ridge! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Do not click on the window during this, otherwise you'll get the error below and the game will close.

Hey @blissful ridge! Are you having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .bat file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

Follow the guide for preloaded in the pinned messages. It's an extra 3gb download, but it should help with that lag. You'll have all of the sprites on your computer and won't need to connect to the internet to get them all the time.
