1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

Hey @atomic belfry! Are you having trouble starting the game? Here are a few common errors you might be experiencing:

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

In your game folder there is a shortcut named SaveFile. Double click that and that is where your save file is stored . If you want a computer to use your save, the save file has to be placed there

I want to install the game on a usb so i can play the same save file on both my laptop and my desktop. However, whenever I run the installer, it automatically downloads the files to some path on my computer (not my flashdrive). It does not (or I have not found it) give me the option to choose my install path, so I have not been able to download it to the flashdrive.
I cant copy all my files into the flashdrive, because windows gives me some error along the lines of 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the file'.

Im having a problem with the sprites. Ik ive seen the fix for it already, but its not working for me. Im also trying to play with preloaded sprites as i dont have internet (i used a hotspot to download the game and the sprites from the megaman thingy) but sprites continue to pop up as question marks in game and some of them just dont show up on the title screen, tho those werent the fusions, those were base pokemon that just werent showing anything

And everytime i turn off the download sprites in the settings, then close the game, when i open the game again, it automaticaly turns download sprites back on

Hey @red bison! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

1. The performance of the Game **largely **depend on your pc and internet. Most Laptops are **struggling **because of the 6.x update. Old computers struggle too.
2. If your game is in a OneDrive folder, turn it off. This game lags hard with OneDrive.
3. Best way to reduce lag is downloading sprites yourself. The more sprites you have, the less it needs to connect to the internet to download them.

• The optimized version of the game is "game-preloaded" but this requires you to download **ALL **the sprites from the pinned instructions on the top right of the tech support channel. Click the Shortcut -> #tech-support message

4. If the game is still slow after using game-preloaded, you need to make computer upgrades.

To provide an update, ran every scan I have available to me, no malware or viruses, however I did go back into the file properties of the batch file and had to give it permission to run under the attributes. Just wanted to update in case a future problem happens with another person

Hey @fallen gull! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Nothing can likely be done about issues experienced on mobile, unfortunately, but you must use the plugin versions listed in the guide or else it won't work at all.

No dedicated mobile version of IF will be developed in the future.

Only option to improve it slightly is preloaded. Guide is also in there. As well as some context to your problem

If you are for sure on a legit version, and on preloaded. Then that's all you can do
