yes, you have to extract the zip file, then you go into it and grab all the images, and put them into graphics/custombattlers. You want to put them loose there. If you did it right, the game will sort them automatically away into their right spots when you next boot it up

dynamic one is fine - that means the game will download the sprites as you play. Just don't try to play random mode until you've played classic mode or else it will crash on you.

Aha, that's good to know. It's possible that you got your files mixed up when patching or downloading your new version.

Try putting this file into \Data\Scripts\014_Pokemon - It's a working copy of the file your game is saying is going wrong. And if this doesn't work, you can try redownloading a fresh copy of the game. Your save should carry over without any trouble

this one isn't really fixable. Try the alternate launcher.

if you put the new sprite right in that folder, the game will detect it and sort it automatically. You can also sort it manually yourself - but it's impractical if there are five thousand of them. 😉

Hey @light gorge! Are you trying to add more custom sprites to your game? You can find the most up to date sprite pack containing all custom sprites in #downloads! To add them to your game, simply copy all the files into your game's CustomBattlers folder. The pack also contains alts and things such as joke sprites and regional variants, which you can also add to your game if you wish.

You can swap between alts of a given fusion in-game, using the Pokédex!

Hey @dull lantern! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hello! I just downloaded version 5.1.3.3 (Dynamic Version) and I am having trouble with really long loading screens when I enter buildings or battles. I saw on the wiki that the "F1 Menu" has options to disable 3d and enable "smooth mode", but when I press F1 I just get the keybindings menu and I can't for the life of me locate the options menu. I thought it might have been something caused by a crash the game has as I was able to play it for a few days, then it crashed and I started getting this bug.
Which is part of why I waited for a new version, deleted everything and downloaded fresh but the issues persisted.
The only thing I can think of on my compter that could have effected it is I do have Cheat Engine, but I've never used it on Infinite Fusion.

Dynamic downloads the sprites from the internet when you play, so you need a constant internet connection.
Preloaded has all the costum sprites already. There are a lot, so if your PC isn't very strong, I recommend dynamic. Choose preloaded if you don't want to be connected to the internet all the time

Only reason I bring it up is that the game reads individual files frequently and, if it was, then it'd have to cache each file every time. This is an unlikely scenario, but I suppose it's possible. Network Drive is far fetched, but OneDrive, with how much Microsoft shills it, could be possible.

Hey @latent bluff! Are yo having trouble downloading the game? You can find the download of the game in #downloads! To run it, simple unzip all of the files into a folder, then click the .exe file. Be mindful that the game takes a few minutes to load, don't touch the black window before it does!

I see a couple things that could cause issues

Keeping the .zips in this folder is proooobably fine, but a copy of the decompressed sprite pack is probably bogging down the game a lot. I would make a new folder to put those in along with this folder, but keeping large amounts of unused sprites in the folder has been known to reduce performance

I was playing the game when some sprites stopped loading. Thought it was a little weird but whatever. Except more and more sprites stopped loading. I exited the game and now when I boot up I get this. I'm one version behind but last time I updated I lost my save so I'm verrrrrrrry reluctant to update without good reason
Edit for peeps with same problem: Went to bed. Started working fine next morning. Download new sprites from internet had gotten turned on in the options menu.

There are a bunch of different types of images in there, they're basically replacements for files with the same name in the game folder. U would have to overwrite those original files

Preloaded comes with I believe the most recent sprite pack preloaded

There is a savefile transfer but it was only made to go from pre-5.0 to exactly 5.0, 5.1 versions changed some naming conventions as well as some story beats so there's probably way too many things that have changed since 4.2, it's been like. Years

Thisis an issue with Modern Mode. The solution we have is to extract a second copy of the game into a different folder, run ur save in that folder, beat the fight, then go back to ur first folder

Save will be read by both folders without u having to move it

Barring like 2 locations u could've saved in, I think going backwards to 5.1.1.1 should be fine for ur save

Hey @delicate musk! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @still flare! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Hi Alexdk, Chrome is correct that bug means there is an error in the save data. The most common reason is updating v4 to v5 of the game, because v4 data isn't directly compatible with v5 of the game. But the patch should come with a save file updater you can run to update your save file.
Unfortunately, if it's not that then it's more likely something has gone wrong and you may as well try Chrome's other solution.

I tried my best by reinstalling the patch and the full game (the one which loads sprites through internet) and it still shows the same error message.

Though I did notice that the icon for togetic is glitched in my box as it shows a fusion one instead (fusion of togetic and heracross I got through trade earlier than the togetic).

I have downloaded the 2 joiplay extension and unzipped it using winrar I downloaded the latest version of preloaded the 1.3gb file and tried running the normal exe and alt launcher exe and same issue

Dynamic version doesn't have the alternate launcher

No. You can turn off download sprites. Which defeats the purpose of the dynamic version. Or you can turn on DNA Icons in options. That's it

Hi.
Updating my game from 5.1.2.4 to 5.1.3.3 has made it so the game doesn't recognise tall grass as tall grass, I can't get encounter when running, and the pokeradar acts like I'm not in grass.

Tried a fresh install of 5.1.3.3, but that did not fix the problem.
I have a backup of the save file itself, in a seperate folder.

Edit: starting a new save file makes grass react as normal, on that save file.
But not the old one

Hey @manic thorn! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Downgrading my game back to pre patch, and restoring the save file backups did not fix my error.
This is beyond my trouble shooting skills.
Guess I finished the game, there are no more pokemon in my world to catch

I did, realize now that the patch had a new encounters_randomized.dat file.
Why would the patch overwrite my that file?

which translates to = no encounters

so reshuffling them generates that file again

Hello i have a problem with my game. Every loading screen is like super long. I installed the game this sunday and they were no problems. But i tried to play again on monday and since then loading screens when leaving/entering an area is like 10 sec sometimes more it also does that i open game menu. What should i do?
