Basically it has to do with a mechanism the brain has where if it thinks it is dead, it will give up and shut itself down, actually killing itself. This can happen theoretically happen in the process of teleportation because currently no hypothesized form is truly instantaneous or allows for a full consciousness transfer, leading to ego death.

It all depends on how you took it. Vape, smoke, edible, drink, or other. Vape lasts 2-4 hours. Smoke lasts 1-2 hours but is more intense. Edible can go from 4-10 hours depending on amount. Drink lasts about 2 hours or so depending on amount.
