If you refered to the egg from the daycare it'll always be a non fusion, except you breed a fusion if ditto.

most of the eggs aren't fusions.

from what I understood, stance change is completly bugged, for example, if you go into attack mode, and kill the other pokemon, your Aegislash fusion will reset to their defensive stats while being in attack mod when another pokemon will be send out

so you will have offensive stats in defense mod and defensive stat in attack mod if an opponent end out a new pokemon when in attack form

Most fusions seem to do well with Togekiss head.
I made it a mission to find a few candidates that are better fused with Togekiss body than Togekiss head:
Wobbuffet
Vaporeon
Mantine
Snorlax
Slowking
Blissey
Wigglytuff
Sylveon
Kyogre
Gardevoir
Noctowl
Milotic

Wailord did come out on top, but is not as good.
Ampharos was a close call, since they are very similar (1 point difference) but Ampharos did come out on top.
Ho-Oh had much more bulk, but was not as high overall stat-wise
Lanturn was also close, but it didn't exceed.
Many low-stat Pokémon had 3 buffs, but never higher BST than the reverse, with the exception of Wobbuffet and Noctowl
Exeggutor technically has more increases, but the end value of them does not exceed.
Giratina was less close, as it is great with its bulk.
