Gen 1: Mew! It's super adorable and the mystique around it as a kid was top tier.
Gen 2: Heracross! It's one of the first bug bois to be like, good. Love bug types. Ampharos is a close second
Gen 3: Milotic. Pretty and strong with a magikarp backstory but focusing more on the special side :)
Gen 4: Really hard to choose; there's great designs in this gen. Rotom sticks out though, with its fun gimmick, almost legendary-in-rarity status and cool design.
Gen 5: It's Zoroark. Or Zorua, really, I love both. Makes me sad to miss out on the bug types in this gen.
Gen 6: Weirdly enough, Furfrou. I just love that dog. I don't even like dogs that much irl.
Gen 7: If we count regionals, Alolan Raichu! Super fun design, super strong. If not, probably Oriciorio.
Gen 8: Sir Fetch'd is an absolute baby. Close call with Dragapult, which i'm mildly devastated won't be in this game.
Gen 9: Haven't decided yet. I love Maushold, SLither Wing, and Grafaiai.
