If you are like me and use from the "end" to store special pokemons, double-check those boxes as well, since it defaults to the last box you used (if not full) when sending a pokemon there after catching it.
You might also want to check your team, if you fused things for the door in your team rather than the PC for example, it would have left a spot open for it.

Hey @lost coyote! Are you trying to unfuse a fusion? Use a DNA splicer on it!

If you're wanting to unfuse a Pokémon you got from a trade: Pokémon with a different OT than yours cannot be unfused! However, you can make it forget its OT in the school in Violet City (post game) for ₱50 000. You're free to unfuse it after that!

Reversing should work for any fused pokemons but unfusing will not work for traded pokemons as they have a different trainer ID.
You will need access to Violet city and 50k money to be able to unfuse those.

You only need to exit the building and re-enter.
The problem is that there is technically one more bin that is not accessible (because it caused more problems when it was accessible) and it can end up being picked for the first switch, sadly.
It is a bug but since the fix is just exiting the building and re-entering, it is very low priority.

If it's about a pokemon not having a visible sprite in battle, it can happen.
Usually it is because you have reached the daily cap for sprites downloads ingame but the game still picking a sprite that has not been downloaded yet.
You can change the sprite being used through the pokedex.

After mount silver, you have the elite 4 at a higher level, all 16 gym leaders that can be re-matched and after at least 12 of them an even higher level elite 4.
You also have access to a few spots with rock climb, mostly only for a second copy of the 3 legendaries you got as eggs.

I would recommend getting a pokemon/fusion with the shadow tag ability to prevent it from running away, preferably false swipe and spore to make the capture a whole lot easier as well.

The arena trap ability would work as well, but there is another roaming legendary that is immune to arena trap.

And of course timer balls for turns after turn 7.
Quick balls for the first turn are always good, of course.

For shadow tag, that would be wynaut, wobbuffet, litwick, lampert and chandelure.
Although it is the hidden ability for the litwick family so wynaut/wobbuffet would be the easiest usually.
Diglet and dugtrio are for arena trap (along with trapinch), but sadly the other roaming legendary fusion is immune to it.

Not having access to false swipe makes catching legendaries harder for no good reason, spore (or freeze balls) is always a big plus as well for the catch rate.

There is a difference between hating the grind (not wanting to re-match a trainer over and over for example) and avoiding battles as much as possible too.
Easy difficulty comes with the exp all effect, making it much easier to level the whole team at the same time, you can get the item for it in Fuchsia to not be bound to a difficulty.

As for randomising only a portion, I don't think that it is possible unless you meant something like randomising the wild encounters but not the static or trainers, in that case it is possible.

Are the Band Members not showing up in the Ilex Forest? Here are some things to help ensure that it does.

1. Make sure you are NOT using a repel.
2. If you used Fly or Teleport to leave, you will have to go back to where the member spawns and walk to the exit.

4. And lastly count 3 seconds before walking 1 tile
