Hey @civic lion! Are you looking for Cut? The Cut HM is given to you by the captain of the S.S Anne! You can get an S.S Anne ticket from Bill at the end of Cerulean Cape, which is north of Cerulean. You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne. You can also get its replacement item, the Shears, on the east path of Route 2 (only once you have the HM already). You can use Cut to access it from the west path of Route 2, or take Diglett's cave from Vermillion City to get to it!

How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

PIF is meant to be enjoyed in various ways and teams. There is no one mon fit all situation, and a lot of the time it is best to choose your team based on what pokemon you actually like, and moreso if you like the fusion's sprite.
Even the worst fusions can beat the game in it's entirety, and if you are having trouble at any point you can adjust the game's difficulty through options.
That being said, some usual strong typings to keep in mind are one's with a lot of resistances and low amount of weaknesses.

Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash! You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above) (only once you have the HM already).

if you saved before fighting the e4 and haven't saved since, i'd recommend closing your game and reopening it so you can not fight the e4

if you have saved since then, next battle you get in, run and accept the whiteout

then; head to lavender town and go back up into rock tunnel, the last trainer in there you can rebattle

winning that fight will net you some money [she is the only trainer that does this] and a hyper potion

this will net you some extra xp, money, and a hyper potion which you can either use later or sell for more money
