In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

I'm looking for a thick club for a marowak fusion because it's nice to have big attack. I am searching in the pokemon tower 4th floor with a fusion incense, and am finding Cubone fusions easily. It should be a 5% chance, and I am using a high level pokemon with thief and no item equipped. Am I really unlucky or am I messing something up?

How to fix ? mark or Invisible sprites
Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:
- HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.
How to Reset your Sprite Pull:
- Open your menu in game and select Options.
- Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
- Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
- Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
- Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.
IF this doesn't work, you need to install the custom sprites manually because your internet is not downloading them: Guide to Install Sprites

Hey @latent helm! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Both are issues with your internet. The game requires you to be connected to internet and on the latest version to get sprites properly:
- HotSpot/Mobile Data doesn't count.
How to Reset your Sprite Pull:
- Open your menu in game and select Options.
- Go to the option named Download Spritesand turn it OFF.
- Leave the menu by pressing Enter on Confirm at the bottom or pressing B (if you don't, this won't work).
- Open options again and turn Download Sprites back ON.
- Save your game and close it. Reopen the game and your sprites should appear.
IF this doesn't work, you need to install the custom sprites manually because your internet is not downloading them: Guide to Install Sprites

There, talk to a man and complete the quest where you find the 5 children in the forest. Once the quest is complete, talk to the man you first talked to when starting the quest. He'll give you a Mareanie Doll, which you can use to get past the Corsola reefs.

Hey @robust dust! Are you looking for Surf? The Surf HM can be found in Fuschia City's Safari Zone, Area 4! You can follow the path in the image above to get to a house. In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hey @devout arch! If your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. The duration of the black screen depends on YOUR computer. Especially if you just imported sprites. The game needs time to process the hundred of thousands of sprites you imported.

The 6.2 update added limited trainer sprite customization, but it is a teaser to the full implementation. Please be patient until the next larger update where you can customize your trainer further since only 3 outfits are available at the moment. The old way of changing custom player sprites will not work anymore.
At the moment, you can only customize existing characters from your bedroom or 2F Hotel Wardrobes.
