You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne. You can also get its replacement item, the Shears, on the east path of Route 2 (only once you have the HM already). Please be patient until the next larger update where you can customize your trainer further since only 3 outfits are available at the moment.
