Randomized Mode:
Randomized mode is only offered if you already have a save file, so that people will play classic mode for their first playthrough.
You can start a game, save, quit, and start a new game if you want to play random, but it's not recommended to randomize trainers for your first time.

Area: Wild Pokémon are replaced randomly for each route.

Global: Wild Pokémon are replaced with other Pokémon on a species per species basis, so if Sunkern replaces Rattata in route 1, it will replace Rattata everywhere else.

Not really, an easy way to keep track outside if you want is to extract the pokedex from the wiki and convert it to a spreadsheet. that way you will have to pokedex+locations in 1 place

Hey! So idk if this or tech-support is the right channel for this, but I technically just completed the Pokédex, but the Developer didn't recognize it. After looking into the pokédex, I saw that Meloetta didn't get saved into the pokédex, despite catching it. Tried changing it's form around, fix the game at the Help Man and reinstalling the game, but nothing worked. Any ideas how to fix it?

what's up with unfusing jumping up the lvl of one of the pokemon by sometimes 10 or 15 levels. is that a mechanic

Unfusing takes the total exp of the mon, then divides it in half and gives each half to each mon.
Fusion partners have different exp growths, so a higher growth rate will jump up way more levels than one with a lower rate

Hey @faint rampart! Are you looking for Rock Smash? The Rock Smash TM is given to you after you beat Brock. To get it, go into Mt. Moon. There, you'll overhear Team Rocket members talking. Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash! You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above) (only once you have the HM already).
