It's just vanilla it doesn't add anything.

If you want you can load. A world and do .clientconfig min brightness 1 and fly around and see them underground with fly and noclip.

These caves have many different cave types and lava rivers near manthle.

cool mod but it causes weird terrain carving when you use mods like terra petty and watersheds/rivers

I've noticed that too; sometimes it'll punch a cavern up through shallow lakes too, with the water locked around the edges of the hole.

Yeah I'm testing things rn and I love the caves from this mod but it doesn't play nice at all with the terra prety+watersheds+rivers (which i also love).. It's a too bad but I am sure fixable... 🙂
