​Currently, mechanical power generators like windmills and waterwheels display output in Newtons (N) (F = ma). This specifies a linear force, which is physically incorrect and counterintuitive for a rotational system.

​At a minimum, the UI should display torque in Newton-meters (N • m) (τ = F * r).

​However, the optimal, engineering-accurate metric is Power as Watts (W). Wattage correctly models the conversion of kinetic energy into the system's available angular velocity (ω) and torque (τ), which are the two important values players at the mechanical age care about.

Also, why is the large wooden gear a ratio of 5.5? I could be missing the point of this value, but wouldn't it make more sense to just make it an even number for human calculations?
