Although actually I guess technically it's possible your having a stroke. I have no idea, I'm just a YouTube video. Comprised of only 120 words, toki pona is the only language you can learn in a matter of hours. 30, on average. As long as you have an internet connection and nothing better to do than learn a language you learnt about in a YouTube video.

it's funny how that came from "pilin pona"

misona - (as) planned, predestined, scripted (negative or otherwise), unsurprising, to plan, to assign

lawa li misona e nasin la tawa li pona a - the government planned the roads so navigating is easy

氷 is not a chinese character japan made that
you can't say it's mandarin because no one uses that
i mean it's technically technically technically right
since it means ice wiktionary seems to think it is just the character for ice
this is bad nimisin after all
yeah because that's how wiktionary works
the simplified versions lead to the traditional for example
and a japanese character links to a chinese character?
yes because it's a variant form
氷 came from 冰
are you sure it's a kokuji? i couldn't find any evidence it was
https://kanji.jitenon.jp/cat/kokuji i doubt this list would exclude a concpet so simple as ice
it is according to wiktionary
where
just because it's in the japanese section doesn't make it a kokuji
just means it's a regional variant
ALSO
it has a middle chinese (onyomi) reading
impossible for all kokuji except that one that meant gland
oh and 働
because phonetic component
checkmate kokuji-ists
japan didn't invent 氷, it just wrote it a bit differently
for something to be a kokuji it needs to be invented in japan
i am uncultured
ANYWAY if a mandarin speaking person saw 氷 i'm sure they'd say bing1
anyway new nimisin
sipije

lmao
yes that's right, i'm using a kanji using it's [sic] english kunyomi reading
good job on calling it kanji
i hate people who call hanzi kanji
and kanji hanzi but that's much less common
well technically you could call it a hanzi in the word k爁炎戎粢埃埃氷坮 specifically
here it's clearly a variant hanzi
it's actually a shinjitai
aka japanese simplified idk
i'm not sure whether or not it was simplified
might just be an ancient variant form
anyway gn

i take back what i said
i actually think that french speakers might tokiponize [kʁwa.sɑ̃] as “kasan” because the nasalized vowel at the end can become a coda n (and it originated from an assimilated coda n which is reflected in the orthography)
i sometimes even turn my toki pona -n into nasalization, like /lon sona/ becoming [lõ.'so.na]
i know this was written last week but it still made me chuckle
their tokiponization has a coda n though?
the only difference is that you handled the consonant cluster differently
or was that the wrong reply
I could also easily see it being kasan, I just like throwing vowels in between consonants for funzies

Oh bþw
þis is not þe origin
þis is a repost
Here is a better version, it is a pogging face
@jolly bramble
I do þink it would be funnier if it just said poggies as þe definition
But if a longer one is needed þe one I wrote in þe repost is fine
it's the earliest pokasi from you in the server
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) þis is a repost
so I'm using it as the "author verbatim"

yeah it doesn't show up on linku.la
see https://nimi.li/umesu for an example
also here's what Linku currently has as the definition:
poggies, pog, poggers (interjection indicating excitement); epic, cool, amazing, exciting
Oh
Let me craft someþing rq
Yk þere are so many epic awesome words I need to differentiate myself wiþ more robust words
Also pogging is a verb
Which is why it is in a sepreate þingy wiþ a ; in þis post
I þink it'd be funnier if þe auþor verbatim is just "poggies"
If you can do þat
well the author verbatim is supposed to be the earliest mention
except if that mention doesn't define the word, in which case if there's an early mention that does define the word that's used
Well þen techencally þis photo wiþ sp is þe earlest mention
And it says what pokasi is under it
which is just poggies iuefhfduishisarhjsfe
and that's why I'm using your repost, because the one previous mention doesn't really define it adequately...? I could use the first one, but it would be imageless
no it has to be like the exact quote of the message

for Esperanto it depends if it’s a group-derived country name (in which case use group for language as well, mostly Europe like franco (French person) or ruso (Russian person) versus Francujo/Francio and Rusujo/Rusio for the countries) or the opposite (like Usono (USA) and Usonano (American)). in either case use “la root-a lingvo” or “la root-a” for the language

Chinese are highly irregular—often there’s a character that was set to some country or group a hundred years ago (法 France, 日 Japan, 德 Germany, 英 England, 中 China, 韩 Korea), and if not a transcription of the country name (加拿大 Canada). these are followed by 语 (spoken language) or 文 (written language)

[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) can't you just find a different character which is Dé
ok so it is possible
but 德文 is the standard transcription
and my Mandarin is not very good
so I didn’t feel like I had the knowledge/authority to come up with another
wait I’m in IRL masking mode aren’t I
when i was given a "chinese name" by my primary school chinese teacher it was 尼夫, but i've actually never looked up what those characters mean
I didn’t even do this my systemmate did that’s why I’m grasping for air for our reasoning
ah ok
I’m 巫华 wū huá
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) when i was given a "chinese name" by my primary school chinese teacher it was 尼夫, but i've actually …
wow. "used in transcription"
the latter can mean “flower”, and is also a valid given name in both Chinese and Japanese
i am like half of one of these
(chosen by my systemmate whose name is flower)
at least in japanese ニヴ is pona tawa mi
the other one is a joke on our surname that I can’t explain without you knowing it, but it means “shaman, witch, Malay” which I think is amazing
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) I’m 巫华 wū huá 📎
especially when paired with “flower, glory, Chinese”
shaman flower? witch glory? Chinese Malay?
Nivu?
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) at least in japanese ニヴ is pona tawa mi
is that a nickname?
actually niwe came from the nickname
nivu is slightly more faithful to the original
it would be really funny if you had the same name as my Gujarati childhood friend
i might
he’s Naveen
ahh close but no cigar
ah
i feel like i'm the only one who uses that expression in the last 100 years
I think one of his nicknames was Nevo or Nevu is why
a sona
I’ve heard it
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) i feel like i'm the only one who uses that expression in the last 100 years
actually this is probably a mishearing of Nɐvu
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) I think one of his nicknames was Nevo or Nevu is why
niwe actually came from when i was learning latin in school and my friends came up with a latin nickname for me
ah cool
this guy
"mi jan Ni"
"jan seme?"
"jan Ni"
say hello to my friend this guy
but "jan Seme" would be much worse
there’s a soko Ni out there somewhere
"sina jan seme?"
"mi jan Seme"
when my systemmate used seme headnoun someone called them jan Seme once
[Reply to:](#1181641057985908797 message) but "jan Seme" would be much worse
