Alright. So assume you’re someone she trusts/know won’t hurt her. If a hug ever were to happen, this is what would happen.
So as you can see, she is very obviously uncomfortable. I would’ve drawn her left side slightly darkening to show what she was about to do, but of course now she realizes who it is.
