From my expierience of a few years and a few iterations of the game, i can deliquently say that the biggest issue, that is comming back with every new version of the game is the awful quality of the that we are being given.
-Giants editor is super unresponsive, unstable and buggy. It works slow, especially with the maps. We now have the procedural placement but the whole interface for it is hard to navigate especially for the first time. I think the best decision would be whole rebuild of the editor. With new interface library, and some ground up work to make it work smoother.
-Icon generator for FS25 does not work properly basically from the day one. And it still does not work. It also have not very intuitive interface (like selecting configurations for vehicle).
-And top of the top is the blender addon. Why we can't get the i3d importer, is it because of risk of reverse engineering i3d format by community or what? Instead we got "one click convert" button that does not work for most of the time. And is useless if you don't have the blend file.
-Game engine itself have some weird behaviours. Texture loading is bad in FS25. The textures often are getting blurry. The memory bank for high quality textures is quite tight.
The physics of vehicles are just not working with ground physics. Sharp edges of plow share is making tractors jump. The responses are very stiff. You cannot really feel the weight of vehicle you are driving.
It just feel like everything is just unfinished. Not only the modding tools but also the game itself. I really wish that the next game will feel like actually developed for 3 years and not 6 months.
