@meager wind some car turned in front of me yesterday IRL. It wasn't nice thing to do when clearly I was going straight on primary road. Then they continued there fore some 20km or so, suddenly slowing down to 60km/h every time an overtaking attempt could have been thinkable had they not done so...
There is limited overtaking possibilities on a road with only one lane per direction, and it is irritating if the other one renders all of them unthinkable. If you are too close behind someone, intentionally or by them suddenly slowing down, you better not try to overtake.
Moving to another lane and accelerating, especially when there is ice and snow on the road, has to be done carefully, and overtaking safely will take longer than on good weather.

I know the topic has passed, but I'd like to chime in and reply to Guil and Buster's discussion about fuel economy earlier today, I did a little bit of ""research"" using Next Gen Scanias to see how much different engines fluctuated in economy and consumption. Using the same mass load and the same route (within a few miles), the differences were quite impressive. There are 3 pics below of the findings...
