For one thing I don't have too much trouble unloading to a bunker, and secondly it's not really automatable

ah right, courseplay - you can't use courseplay to unload to a bunker currently - I could make a version that has ramps that you extend and they stay extended until you toggle it again, so extend it for CP driving and retract it to compact it

Nope. Loading wagons can raise the hitch enough to take on a considerable slope, but if I use normal trailers I can just reverse-unload and then use a leveller

Yeah, typically manually I'll back in a wagon and sit until it is max pile then creep at 3kph for a full row. Level and compact.
