They don't filter diesel for parafine as clearly during the summer as it doesn't cause any problems in warmer temperatures. But if you use diesel bought during summer when it's cold, the parafine gathers in chunks and might block the lines.

I read this
Pre heating the glow plugs in your engine heat up the combustion chamber to help the diesel fuel ignite and start combustion. They are only needed for the initial start in cold weather but play an important role. Most new Kubotas have an automatic timer that tells you when the glow plugs are heated. Simply turn the key to the left, a spiral light will show up on your dashboard. This indicates that the plugs are heating. Continue to hold the key to the left until the light goes off indicating that the plugs are properly heated then turn your key to the right to crank the engine.

If the voltage is the same, let's say both are 12V, just connect the jump start cables and then start the motor and then disconnect the cables. Do not keep the other vehicle running while jumpstarting.

The battery capacity does not affect on the starting current. If both batteries have same rated voltage, you can jumpstart it without any problems. Having the donor car's altenator running might not be wise though, since then it might give overvoltage.

@trail flower you've probably heard about the order of the cables
When jumpstarting
First the battery pole that is not connected to the body of the vehicle, then the one that is. First end of the first lead to empty battery, then to donor battery. Then the other lead to the donor battery, and then to the empty batteried vehicle's body, in some point where it makes good connection. Disconnecting happens in reverse order.
That tries to make sure that there is minimal chance to short circuit anything, and minimal chance of sparks near the battery which could in the worst case end up exploding it. If the empty batteried vehicle doesn't have any good conducting spots on its frame, only then connect the other lead to the battery instead of the frame.
And be careful with the polarity.

Sure, label me a fanboy, that's fine. I'm just keeping an open mind and open to seeing where they take it. The FSC was a fun way to have the community come together for some fun competition, expanding it seems fine. Labeling it an eSport is going a little far, sure, but the concept seems alright
