if memory serves, what happened was they agreed with some farmers association that allowed the farmers to work on the combines, but a different association somewhere else already had an agreement saying farmers couldn't, so the deere specific one depends where you live

I ran grass silage a couple times and while the money was good, the work was a bit more tedious
that said, I will probably get back into it; I bought field 12 thinking I would eventually buy the BGA

I do have to confess to one thing though, on my main playthrough I was grinding away on farm manager and really struggling. After the update and I was able to switch to easy economy I couldnt resist and haven't looked back since
