Well... I'd say that get Forage wagon to start with. Supply with water, grass, and hay. Hay you make by using tedder over mowed grass. Hay you may replace with silage, silage you create by putting grass or chaff to bunker silo and covering it after you got enough, or by wrapping grass bales.
Powerfood boosts production, for that you need food mixer, into which you put a mixture of silage, straw, and hay, or here you can replace hay with grass. (So basically you don't need hay or chaff for cows, just use grass at beginning, easier that way.)
Straw you need if you want solid manure, otherwise cows will just make slurry. Both of which you can and should use as fertilizer.

You can unload directly to feeding through, although you can also unload into piles and then carry from piles to feeding through with shovel/bucket when needed.
After getting mixer wagon for powerfood you need loader to fill it, or there is also self-loading model. Mixer wagon will display the ratios for you in tooltip window in top-left corner.
You can use bales but you don't have to, the other form will work just as fine.

6-axis 3D-mouse for spinning around viewports, you use that with your other hand while having normal mouse in another. Increases comfort level and speed when the normal mouse doesn't have to control viewport at the same time with CAD-actions.
