@quartz lintel might want to get a desktop then, if youโre not going to spend any over 1k, youโll need to buy better parts for better performance if you donโt want to replace your pc every other year or so. And changing laptop parts is no easy feat.

@glossy spire you can tell you were part of the team that made the map , and the fact that my John deer has red wheels does not help one bit. I took that in fs17 and totally forgot to turn off my fps counter in the bottom. Took it went into photoshop and lived it up a bit. Makes it look almost realistic, I think. I will have to turn back on dev control and get a better pic then fix it up a bit and post it here.
And I took that at flat peaceable area at the top of the yard. Good eye

Wow, that's cool. I've seen forage harvesters irl but I wonder, why don't they just use that mower front to save the trouble of mowing and windrowing? Of course apart from costs but ingame you can just harvest grass with the mover and it works fine... Just something I'm thinking about ๐ค

I've never seen one using the mower attachment in real life, my guess is that it's likely to manage the moisture levels of the silage

There were times on our farm where we could basically cut the hay and follow with the forage harvester to chop silage, but yeah most of the time you need to let it dry out a little bit first

@little temple That's a myth, there are at least 9,000 games on Steam that natively support Linux and you can use a program called Wine to run games that don't have native Linux versions, it usually works just fine, heck, I use it to run FS17

No, of course it isn't possible to get all Windows games working, but it's getting better all the time, and performance differences are extremely negligible
Don't trap yourself in a jail of your own making, while thinking up excuses to make it harder to get out
Why not do what I do and dual boot Linux + Windows and use Linux usually and Windows when you need to run something that you absolutely cannot get working on Linux
