Im sure this will invoke reactions,
Why not have a 5 minute respawn timer, lets people chill out for a moment and get some water.
Not much of human wave tactics anymore.
OPINION. Just an opinion. Dont get too wild

You can simply not respawn for 5 minutes. A lot of people just wanna get back in the fight.

Usually when I die I do what you mentioned. Stretch, bio, water, snack, let out the dog, etc. Then just respawn when I get back.

Agree with dBozee, I already have limited time to play and seem to be a lead magnet when I do, so I spend enough time blacked out, if I were forced to wait an additional 5 minutes after that I would be pretty unhappy

It was a silly opinion. Food for thought,
Usually the gameplay is somewhat of an infinite force(respawns) vs ai.
Just human wave, throw the players at it with sometimes good plans or bad, either way.
Sometimes its good. Im just noticing maps being taken much quicker than the usual

Yeah, I don't think timers are the way tho. Imagine getting out to the field, getting RPGed in the first 30 seconds and then having to wait 5 minutes to respawn on top of your re-insert timer. Just not sure it'd be a fun time.

I think they've really nailed the difficulty this time around, it's just the map sizes that are getting em.

I think if you have a strong medic you won’t be down long. Lately though I think guys get fixed on only watching one thing or not exactly understanding how the med system works. A timer if you died in combat would definitely kill lol

i agree, but skill issue imo. Respawn timer would do nothing but p*ss me off, think there is already enough drawbacks to dying like the fact you gotta get reinserted which is usually 5 or more minutes in itself, lose your AT if you die with it etc etc

I honestly agree with Para..Maybe not 5 minutes,but instead a 30 seconds/1 minute one..I dont see any problem with waiting 1 minute to set a straight mind into it again..This will encourage people to not get dropped 50 times and making things go a little more smoother..

Still don't really see the need for a respawn timer. You are already inadvertently penalised for dying anyway. Usually you will spend 5-10 minutes uncon/bleeding out before you respawn, then a wait for a stalker or ogre to reinsert you usually means you are out of the field a good 20 minutes, adding anymore time to this IMO will just hurt playability.

Bleedout time + reinsert time is already long enough for a casual milsim

Good point on it but the bleedout time dosent really count..I know times when i was down,thinking ok i have time to go and take something to eat or stuff and when i come back i was already up in the middle of the firefight.One time i almost dropped my drink :)) So i think in the bleedout u need to stay there ready for when u get back up,so yeah a little time for respawn will get u more relaxed even tho u can take time as much as you can if you want..

So why force players to have a respawn timer rather than those who want one just, well, not respawning until they’ve done all they wish/need to get finished?
