I've had to resort to Aurora Project, but it really eats up resources. If anybody has something like that for the SS Engine to share, please let me know!

i just got an arctis 1 and the headphone jack on the splitter doesnt work when plugged in at the same time as the mic, when the mic is unplugged it works fine, anyone know how i could fix that?
the jack for the mic, not the actual mic on the headset^

Hello. I am running the Artic Pro Wireless headset on Windows 10 Pro. I am having trouble with the discord interface "option" under apps. When activated it used to reverse the image and make everything read backwards. After the update prior to the latest one (3.18.5) and still continuing when the app is activated and a person speaks instead of showing their name on the lcd of the mixer box, it blanks the screen out completely. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Then making sure you have the latest updates for your current hardware from apple. Then a clean reinstall.

@bright seal If you can log in and "undefined" is the only problem. It may just be something on their site. I wouldn't worry to much about it. If it bothers you that much you can always submit a support ticket for your user account and their website support.

I'm having some problems where I can't record any audio from discord on nvidia shadowplay cause my discord output is wireless chat whilst system sounds is on wireless game. If i change the discord output to wireless game it completely defeats the purpose of having chatmix on my steelseries wireless pros

and basically the arctis 3 kinda sounds the same but the arctis 3 has very precise sounds its almost sounds wierd while the recon 320 has a very smooth around feel instead of sounding seperate

just received a rival 3, everything works fine besides mouse5 ( the side click ) , it does a clicking sound but makes no input to my computer ( nor in game or online ) is my mouse defective ?

So, I just wanted to confirm here. The Arctis Pro Wireless does not have the same capability for Discord notifications that the Apex series of keyboards does? I'm just trying to get the names of folk speaking to show on the display, and the names of folk joining and leaving the channel I'm in to pop up.

@ruby marlin keep waiting, since the support staff is working from home it's taking longer to get to everyone's tickets than normal. Just gotta be patient. Also keep in mind that sending another message in your ticket will reset your place in the que so if you are next in line for a reply from your support person that means you'll go back to last in their list of tickets they're working on

After losing my profiles, I updated to GG. Still didn't have the profiles on the web.
I even tried copying all my engine files back (which helped a few weeks ago), but it didn't work this time ๐ฆ

Hi there - I'm using an Arctis 7, interchangeably on PC and PS4. When charging via the USB port off on PS4, the power button LED shifts to a yellow blinking light. This is only resolved by plugging at least once again into a PC, then it goes green once again. Is this standard in regards to the power button LED color?

Specifically if it is discord. You have to go into sound and video and manually change the input and output to steelseries arctis 3.
You can do it on your pc too. Make it the default input/output.
I disabled my mic on mine because I use a Rode studio USB.

So, weird issue but I'll plug my arctis 7's in to charge overnight and when I wake up, it's not charging and they're not charged. It will charge, let's say +25% and just stop. Any ideas?

@tender rapids I have the arctis pros and sometimes I have to unplug and replug it in to my computer for the game option to even show up. also some applications might have one or the other selected in windows sound settings
if you check there in advanced sound options "app volume and device preferences" something might be selected so that nothing would go through the game side of audio

I noticed with the arctis pro game dac, when the mic is mutes. And i gwt the mic very close to my mouth and talk it still send voice, my friend said it super faint tho

What program were you using the mic with?
It was happening on Instagram (via bluetooth), google voice (via bluetooth), discord (wired), and zoom wired.
Do you have a PC you can plug the wire into? If so you can listen to the mic through Windows and see if it sounds quiet like that. If so then it's most likely a problem with the mic capsule
When I listen to it its really quiet
In that case it's probably an issue with the capsule itself. One last thing you can try is uninstalling the device drivers and reinstalling them to see if that resets it. If not there may be a way to reset the headset completely but I don't know of one right off hand

The actual thing that picks up the audio from your voice inside the plastic bit on the headset lol. It's probably a software issue because mic capsules usually don't give out easily, but not impossible I suppose
Support will probably be able help you better than me because I can only recommend general troubleshooting steps since I don't own and haven't used an Arctis 3 personally

Hey my headset is echoing for some reason I have bought 2 of the same headsets the Arctis 1 and they both echo leading me to believe that it is something that I am doing. Can anyone help me out?
What do you mean by echo? Like hearing yourself through the headset or like the audio coming through has some kind of echo effect applied to it?
If it's the latter then you might have some audio effect applied through Windows that you can turn off
People in my discord chat can hear themselves through my mic
I have turned my volume down but then they cannot hear me
Go into SSE and see if you have side tone enabled. If so try turning that off and seeing if it helps

True, in that case go into the hardware and sound settings in Windows through control panel and see if you have "Listen to this Device" selected on the headphone output

can anyone help me here, I've submitted a support ticket, but thought it might be quicker to try here, so i have the arctis pro wireless headset, when i load up a game i get a really noticeable and frankly infuriating buzzing noise. I've been changing settings left right and centre trying to fix it, nothing has worked up to now. except one thing, changing my source on the dac from PC to AUX, this fixes the issue, i would just run it on that except doing this loses my license for DTS, has anybody had this issue and fixed it? i'm starting to think maybe my dac is busted... really disappointing for a ยฃ300 headset.

I downloaded the steelseries engine 3 so i could remove mic monitoring (cause im not a big fan of it) on my Arctis 9x's but honestly couldnt figure out how to connect it to my laptop. I did see some videos on how to but all of the were using wires, was this problem?

@granite solar AMD Ryzen CPUs are not currently supported on the system monitor. Also, the Spotify integration hasn't worked for a long time because an update to Spotify broke the integration with SSE and as far as I know Spotify hasn't worked with SteelSeries to be able return the integration to their products

@flat bear Support tickets can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to get fully resolved. With everyone working from home the support team has been swamped with stuff, but are doing what they can to get through all the tickets. The best thing you can do is just be patient until you get a response, but be careful not to spam your ticket with messages because that will reset your position in the que so if you were next in line to get a response but send a message before then your ticket will go back to the bottom

I got the Articus 1 headset and the live mic playback sounds fine but the discord quality is much worse

my arctis five will switch between playing audio louder in one earcup whenever i restart the engine or disconnect/connect, does anybody know why?
If it corrects itself after awhile it's probably just a software glitch. Last time I used my Acrits 5 via the 3.5mm jack on my laptop and then plugged it back into the ChatMix is stopped playing audio out of the right earcup, but it was fixed after restarting the PC

my apex pro's rgb profile is being weird, it randomly turned off all the lights on the keys earlier, the lock lights still work and everything though, and the other profiles worked fine it was just the one color pattern for the one profile. After I changed the colors and put them back, it stayed lit for around 30 minutes but it just turned back off again. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

@kinkyboo#3590 It's not adware. Windows has to install the base driver for your specific mouse, which is SteelSeries. The driver comes from SteelSeries. It's a notification that comes with that driver, that shows there is software available to add more configuration options than the base mouse driver provides, for those who're unaware. It's not trying to sell you anything.

Does it make a difference of which USB color i plug into? The USB wires inside show (white) and the usb ports in the front panel of my pc show black and blue (they're plugged into the blue)

I believe the only thing I need is the headset Hands-free driver, anytime I try repairing my headset via Bluetooth it fails to install the driver and I am unable to find it anywhere. ive tried all of the basic things like reconnecting the headset and resetting it.

It should switch automatically, but I don't own a pair of Arcits 9s so I can't really say for sure. You'd probably have better luck looking it up on Google if you have a problem switching between the two

Hello! My steel series artic pro wireless will not connect to the transmitter. The batterys are charged, and have been swapped twice to make sure the batterys are not the issue. The headset turns on and beeps, but will not connect to the transmitter naturally. I Have to go to the transmitter and scroll to options, then pairing, and do the ''remove current pairing, and repair headset'' process. After that it worked for 25 mintues, and just turned off. Then returned it on and had to repair it the same way. Then it didnt turn off so i turned it off myself, went to do something and came back and went i turned it back on it would not naturally pair.
For past 2 weeks, randomly the transmitter would go into a slideshow mode, or it would freeze the image on transmitter.
Everytime i repaired it it worked, untill it either stopped or was shut down, then having to be pair it manually by resetting it fully.
Any ideas or help would be much appreicated, also i bought it from amazon new and its been over a year(im certain) unless amazon can still refund/rma after a year(i doubt) but this is unexpectable for a product that has been working flawless until it suprased its warranty stage from steel series. $300 Headset that has give me this many headaches. It has dropped ONCE and very lighty due to hitting my leg, then the carpet from 4-5 feet. Besides thats its been treated like a feather.

I think it has to do with saving both you and them time in the RMA process. If you teardown the product and then send them photos that identify the issue, they can go ahead and get you a replacement or send you a coupon or whatever they're going to do instead of having to ship it to them, wait a week for shipping, wait a week for SteelSeries to inspect the product themselves, then wait another week or more for a replacement to arrive @ruby marlin

My Steelseries Mic is working(kinda) I used a voice recorder and when I was speaking nothing happened but when I would put my mouth on it and go brrrrr it would pick up a little bit of noise why is that happening?

Just going to drop this here, if you are using a Arctis 5 and if your sound crackles while both game and chat channels are in use, if you are using a usb-c hub, plug your headset directly to the pc.
If not, try other ports
Most usb c hubs are not that powerful and that was the source of my problems
@stable sinew support can take anywhere from a few days to a week or more to get a response back due to everyone working from home and such so you just gotta be patient. It sucks, yeah, but it was it is
@tender rapids try playing around with Discord settings like noise cancellation and auto gain control and stuff and see if that fixes it. If the mic is sounding fine through side tone then it's very unlikely to be a physical issue with the headset
@clear basin look up reviews online and YouTube they'll be able to give you a lot more in depth and balanced view of the headset than anyone here

I took some keycaps off for the very first time, I was nervous to cause Iโve never taken keycaps off, but I did and blue on the switch and the inside of the keycap hard, and honestly, that seems to have worked, but Iโm not getting my hopes up yet, thanks for the reply!
It's very possible that there was just some gunk under the key causing it to not correctly register a press. You should deep clean your board every few months or so, remove and clean all the keycaps and wipe down the surface around the switches to prevent buildup and just to make the board look nicer lol

I was thinking about buying the Arctis 9 wireless but my PC setup uses a audio mixer (GO XLR Mini) wich means i have to recieve my audio via a headphone jack and not via USB.
I saw that the headphones use a wireless transmitter that has a "Game In Jack" can i connect my mixer to that jack instead of having the audio come in via USB?
And if so will some features of the Arctis 9 not work? like the "On-ear ChatMix control" / "Simultaneous Bluetooth for calls, music, and VoIP" / ...

@stable sinew it's not worth shipping the products back to RMA for inspection, so they ask you to destroy it to make sure you aren't scamming them

Destroying the headset yourself is actually a normal part of SteelSeries RMA lol. I think the reasoning is that it saves them time and probably money and also saves the customer time because instead of having to pay to ship the broke product to SteelSeries, wait a week for it to get to them, wait a week for SteelSeries to get around to RMAing it themselves, then waiting another week for them to send a replacement, they can just see what the issue is or whatever and go ahead and get a new product sent your way

If other 2.4ghz wireless/ bluetooth devices you use work on Linux then yes it should work

If you live in the US the standard is one year assuming you're buying from SteelSeries and not second hand. If you live in the EU I believe it's two years, but it should say on the product page as well @vestal raft
Hi, I got my replacement Arctis Pro + GameDAC yesterday but this unit has absolutely no bass at all... could this be a defective unit?
Like fr my old MacBook has more bass than these do. I have all bass boost eqs enabled yet still nothing. Just sounds really REALLY flat
Have you tried listening with the headset plugged directly into the PC instead of going through the dac to see if it still has the same problem?

Ok so I plugged my brother's old Arctis 3s into the GameDAC and tested them and these have much more bass
In that case it's probably an issue with the speakers on the headset
hello my steelseries arctis 9 came in today and it worked fine at first but when I was updating the firmware in the SSE it suddenly said that I have to reconnect my headset I did this but it didn't reconnect anymore the led is just always blinking blue when I plug it in via micro USB and when I click the power button after this I tried reinstalling the SSE and I also reinstalled the drivers in my Device Manager and I also tried doing the hardware reset using the pinhole but it still won't work can anybody help me please. Thanks

I think it has something to do with the firmware update because that's when it started to not work

IS THERE a way to reset a nimbus without the power button? just got one and well i didnt do the firmware update wanted to it via SE3 on my PC but i turned it out and now i cant turn it off

I just recieved the Arctis 3 2019 Edition
When I plug it in my laptop I do not hear antyhing and I can't use my mic
ive noticed this after the last update in moments soi ill post in #moments-report-a-bug as well, but im not sure if its an issue with the software, hardware or something else in my pc. My arctis pro+dac cuts out with no sound, my keyboard illumination cuts out sometimes not responding to presses and something is causing spotify to skip around and go haywire. lasts a couple seconds

So, i have a steelseries apex 7 keyboard and for some reason my "D" key isn't working properly. I always have my keyboard all red lights and my "WASD" keys white. When i got home yesterday from school, my "D" key is yellow and not white. So, i talked to my friend about it and he said "Your blue rgb isn't working". If that's true does anyone know if i can fix it or not?

@sinful rock the standard warranty if you live in the US is one year, and I believe 2 if you live in the EU. The same warranty is on all their products including the Rival 3, assuming you bought it new and didn't get it second-hand
@indigo cedar make sure Windows is set to the correct audio output the headset is plugged into which should be listed as "Speakers (Realtek Audio) or something similar if it's plugged into a headphone jack, and make sure the mic is selected as the default communication device
@cinder ermine I would try contacting official support. It sound slnce you've already done the basic troubleshooting stuff anyone in here could recommend to you
@outer yoke Sounds like the LED in the D key is failing. Try contacting offiical support and seeing what they can do for you

yes
the 2 side buttons are a bit smaller than i'd like and compared to other mice, but if you don't rely on them for anything huge, it's all good
the rgb is pretty af, the clicks are great an all buttons, the scroll wheel is smooth but still has defined points
for the price its a steal
