You're assuming you'll be able to even get a 3070 lol. I highly doubt Nvidia's "Oh we just want to have more cards available" BS. They most likely just want to take over the news cycle the day after the AMD announcement so no one talks about it while maybe having a few more cards than would have if they released on the original date but not by a substantial increase. I highly doubt shelves will be flooded with 3070s on the 29th

Your best bet is to just have the Nvidia store, Newegg, Amazon, and wherever else they'd be selling the cards open and just constantly checking until you can get one from somewhere if you're serious about trying to get one on the 29th

several thoughts i have on this

it's easier to make 3070s than 3090s and 3080s, because you can use lower binned chips. The lower end cards are also always what makes more money, because more people buy them. I think the kind of people who are trying to buy 3080 and 3090s day 1 are not the same kind of people who want 3070s, and so there should be less entitlement going around

if it's under warranty replace the mouse or get a refund

if it's not, you can do as I said and replace the switches yourself with some quality kailh or other switch, or get someone to do it for you
