I know this is a dumb question, but with the Arctis Pro+ GameDAC does the “chat” volume dial only work for Discord

@tepid dragon Yep, the ChatMix pretty much handles everything. When you plug them in you'll have two different audio sources on your PC, Arctis 5 Game and Arctis 5 Chat. The Game source is used for the 7.1 surround feature and will become the default audio output for everything on the PC. The Chat source is a normal stereo output that you can set individual programs like Discord to use. If you set Discord to use the Chat source (which will show up as SteelSeries Arctis 5 Certified) while your game is coming through the Game source, you'll be able to adjust the volume between the game and Discord with the chat mix dial

bluetooth has been working perfectly for over a day and has been on charger for most of that time. i was watching a movie and it randomly disconnects but the green light is still on the headset. tried reconnecting, turning off and on and connecting to other devices but it only shows up half the time and when it does show up it won't connect.

@rapid smelt I explained the difference between the Game and Chat outputs to someone earlier today. Hope this clears things up. Basically the Game option should be the default for all desktop audio unless you change specific programs like Discord to use the Chat output which then allows you to change the volume between the two outputs with the mix dial

@stray axle Apex 5 is the $99 one. It has a hybrid mechanical switch and media controls. Apex 7 is basically the same thing but with the option of red blue or brown switches. It also has a TKL option. Here are the links:

okay so i have the audio converter for the switch and my headphones

unfortunately i can hear both my mac and switch audio which is good

but i can not speak

any ideas on this one?

i think the reason why i cant speak in mac is because in order to have both mac audio and switch audio, i need the ubs dongle connected at the same time as i have the audio converter in

and because i have the dongle and headphone jack in, i cant turn on the headset to activate having audio
