How do I get high res audio on my PS4 with the Steelseries arctis pro?

@mighty herald the game audio on the PS4 needs to be Hi-Res for you to notice any difference, and there aren't really any games using Hi-Res, because very few headsets can actually reproduce Hi-Res
however if you want to switch to the Hi-Res mode, just hold the main knob down, scroll to Input (one slot clockwise) and press the knob to select, then middle input option will be Hi-Res
you may need to restart the PS4 in order for the GameDAC to restart too, sometimes live audio input changes can get a bit "buggy"

I normally use a Sensei Ten and I couldn't tell any big differences sensor wise to the Rival 3
The buttons on the side are a bit too sharp on their edges to my taste

Blues are clicky and loud in the Apex 7 vs omnipoint switches in the Apex pro which are a bit quieter and also give you the option to change the actuation point depending on your typing speed @obtuse olive

I have an M750 TKL myself which has a SteelSeries QX2 switch. It's more linear like the omnipoint on the Apex Pro which is what I prefer, but key switch preference is pretty much entirely personal. Unless you want a really loud keyboard though I would def stay away from blue switches. They are annoyingly loud too type on. If all you'e going to is game I would go with the omnipoints on the Apex Pro @obtuse olive

@mild plank The headset dongle is proprietary to the Arctis 1 Wireless for Xbox, so the dongle would unfortunately not work with the standard Arctis 1 Wireless.

BTW, I use my Arctis 1 on my mac with Webex all the time. I've had people reach out and ask what headset I use since I'm super clear. Just thought I'd let you guys know since it does work great on Mac.

ite. I have a Arctis pro + gamedac headset, and i have tested it abit. I saw that if i mute the mic, take it closer to my mouth and talk loudly, some sound does come thru. In my case, i have used discord and obs to see my mic volume. this isn't a problem for me, but i am just curious. my guess would be that the noise cancelling mic is, THE mic i guess, is picking up my voice, or am i wrong?

I dont have a problem at all with it, I am just curious. I mute my mic on the back of my headset, and go to a program showing the volume. It shows a small amount of noise, but I have never had friends or anyone hearing me while its muted. Unless being at a rock concert first row, then it obviously wont take in any noises unless you do as I did.

I currently own Corsair Virtuosos which compared by other brand are outstanding on the Mic quality but donāt seem to work on my computer. Corsair support hasnāt been able to fix it so Iām looking for a new replacement

@errant trail they are very good. You play connect your phone and your pc at the same time the receiver box has a battery charger build in and the mic quality is very good for a gaming headset although there is no rgb if thats what you like

@stray axle Nope. I own the "old" Arctis 1 and the 9x...the latter is the "elite" product for Xbox: no dongle needed, dual wireless connection and game chat dial integrated into the headphone. It's literally made with Xbox in mind. It also features the construction quality of the Arctis 7, which is far better that the one on the Arctis 1 for obvious price pointing reasons.
The Arctis 1 it's a "it works everywhere in the same way" headphone. Just plug the card, no pairing needed and it works: phone, Xbox, PS4, Switch, PC
so it really is down to what do you want: compatibility everywhere or a product tailored for a specific console...

Ok so maybe someone can save me from pulling my face off. I just bought the artic 1 wireless for Xbox One X, it says it's only for pc, switch and ps4 but on the website and numerous other places it states that the usb-a/dongle which i have plugged in will allow it to be wireless on xbox. It seems to pair but there is no sound and the only way i can get any sound is 3.5 extension straight to remote. I am so confused.
