it does what the arctis 3 and 7 do, but for less cash and more portability
same drivers, mic is about the same, build quality tbh looks even more robust on that
all im saying is, if i had to pick a wireless ss headset it'd be the 1
so the apex pro isnt worth 240$ and wont make me better at fortnite?
@flat pagoda it's 200 bucks retail, and it's linear switches to the max- no contacts mean smooth travel plus you can set the actuation
but i'd reckon you should try out different switches and then make your decision
start with cherry or kailh switches, and once you know if you really like linear look for hall effect switches, which are the switches in the apex pro
the nice stuff about the pro is the actuation changing, which is nice
i still want a 60% keyboard with these switches though, it'd be such a good idea

For some people it seem to be if the hosts file has been changed and redirects localhost to 0.0.0.0

I own Steelseries Rival 105 mouse. I haven't used any gamesense options yet, I just set the mouse light to be one solid color (blue) at all times. Just now I found out about Discord Gamesense and decided to check it out.
I've decided to make the light glow red when I have a notification unread, so I did this:
However, now the light turns red when I get notification (someone messages me, for example) but after a moment it goes dark and stays this way until I get new notification.
I'd like it to be red as long as I have notifications unread, and when I read messages I've got/mark as read/whatever it turns back to my default blue
I assume that it simply is how Discord Gamesense works and I cannot achieve the effect I want, but it's worth asking to make sure

There is a command in CMD that shows EVERYTHING connected to your device and all the drivers associated with it. I would tell you the command but I can't exactly remember it. You should be able to google the command. If it is a problem with your device it will show up there otherwise it is a problem with the headphones. Sorry I couldn't give you the command but I hope this helps

suppose what you could do is ask the steel series staff what the differences are, im not 100% sure myself. all i know is that in general, UK layout has one more key and that the enter button is slightly bigger afaik, but it probably depends on the model.

So my Rival 500 decided to break at friday, I've contacted support and got couple of replies but no more at this point even though I still have my issue.
My rival decided to suddenly yeet the dpi setting off the orbit, support guy told me to uninstall stuff did that problem still persists, then do the unplug left+right+cpi button thing and this thing just blinks and nothing else, at some point the leds went off and nothing else
other options in the sse work except the sensitivity

@vapid hawk In what instance? Have you ever modified mouse properties on Windows Control Panel(If you using Windows)? If not, do you have another mice to try identify which one is causing its issue(Like is it on HW side or SW side)? Or... I don't really recommand this but try to blow some air onto left buttom?
Or try multiple games check what game doesn't work

Anyone have any clue what I should do, had the artic pro just over a year now and it seems whenever pressure is built up in the right ear muff it cuts off audio. The headset works perfectly fine until it goes against my ear, I have to re-adjust the headset until it works on my ear if I want to use it but even just moving my head can cause it to cut off again.

I like it. I've heard a lot of negative stuff about it, but I myself have never had any problems with it.
Can't really brag about the audio quality, but it's more than good enough.
It's practical, durable, and comfortable
In the price range, you can absolutely get headphones with better audio if that's what you're looking for, but these work well for everyday gaming/chatting.

Hey, since I don't see a support channel and the tickets response time are so long, I wanted to know if some of you had the same issue that I'm having here. Suddendly, Steel Series Engine 3 doesn't recognize my Arctis PRO Wireless anymore and I cannot configure it properly to enjoy this headset to the full. I've tried reinstalling the Steel Series Engine, resetting the Arctis PRO Wireless base, removing the headset from the devices on my Windows 10, but none of this works and I'm starting to get very frustrating because I have a $350 headset which now I cannot enjoy fully. Have you encountered this issue or do you know how to fix it? If not I'm going to RMA this headset because I'm getting burned from this.

All current SteelSeries headphones are similar except Arctis 1.
Arctis 1 looks pretty similar to Sibaria Raw Prism https://steelseries.com/gaming-headsets/arctis-1
I don't see a difference between the earpads between all the SteelSeries headsets, so the only choice you have is if you want to have a headband or just a basic cushion at the top.

Well the pro and the pro TKL both have Omnipoint Mechanical adjustable switches which gives you the option to change how sensitive the keys are

I've never noticed any light bleed or issues with having too many colours, and I must admit occasionally the keyboard stays on during the night.
