I think they sell headbands on the website, but those might only be for the Arctis 5 I'm not entirely sure. You could try just Googling around for a compatible headband replacement if SteelSeries doesn't sell any directly @stray axle

Is the Apex Pro keyboard worth it?

I have the rival 600 and the adhesive that holds the grip is slowly "fading" away if you will, does the Apex Pro have any flaws of the sort?

Well you could use OBS or if you just want audio use Audacity with the WASAPI host. Using Voicemeeter is a pretty odd way to go about it

I know how the mixer works, but Voicemeeter only allows two inputs

So given 3 inputs you're kind of screwed unless you split one off at the source and have it as input in both computers (which would probably not end well using a headset, so I'd recommend a separate mic, preferably with a separate amp) OR use a separate program to mix OR maybe try the Stereo mix method in recording in the sound control panel

I'm considering buying Arctis and looked at some reddit threads beforehand; all of them have the same problem I do, the ear cups are too shallow and press against the drivers. Do I risk it and buy them, then try replacing the ear pads with some third-party ones?

I have the Rival 650 (same mouse/sidegrips, just wireless) I have had no issues with them. Had it for many months, been traveling around with it and its held up perfectly. The sidegrips are still on perfectly for me

Not entirely sure why you'd bother with the DAC on a SD headset. But if audio is through wireless only then absolutely not.

I can definitely recommend the Pro+Dac though.

But, for the price you're talking a $10 difference. So it comes down to "do you want wireless" or "do you want a Hi-Res headset". If you're not going to do any recording stuff, don't listen to lossless music, and hate wires, yeah the 9x might be a better option for the convenience. If you do any of those, yeah the pro is a great choice. Just be aware that the Pro DAC only supports 24/96 in Hi-Res mode, which means you CANNOT use the mixer and experience Hi-Res audio at the same time. That mode is restricted to 16/48 per channel (Game and Chat).

I use it and absolutely love it every day. Purely by specs, the Pro has a much better freq response range (10-40k) vs (20-20k) and of course wired isn't going to get the same interference Bluetooth is prone to.

I have created a mode for mouse, keyboard and mouse pad called "OFF". I have set the mode for everyone and it works. Now if I restart the PC, everything lights up again and only goes out when I run the app.

When I plugged it in the computer gave me the normal prompts ‘windows is setting up device’... ‘device is ready to be used’ but the mouse won’t light up or cause any input. I checked for new drivers, uninstalled the device and reinstalled. I downloaded steams engine for personalization and it tells me the mouse is connected. But it doesn’t do anything.

@stray axle i think its a setting that indicates that your mic is actively transmitting. if you want to hear you voice, you can adjust the settings there.
