Spoke to my cousin about the Arctis 7, and she said not to bother
According to her, to use it with a docked Switch, you need a second cable to take audio from the Switch 3.5mm jack to the line-in of the dongle as Switch doesn't output audio over the dock's USB-A ports (heck, it doesn't even work with most USB-A based DACs unless they have a specific chipset)
The required second cable isn't included (it's a 3-pole 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable)
Funnily, Switch can use a USB-C dongle to output audio via the USB-C port on the actual console
Looks like I'm keeping my Arctis 3 BT for all audio duties
I wonder if hooking up her Switch to an internal capture card via HDMI then hooking up the Arctis 7 dongle to the PC would be a better option... And ChatMix would work too

Pro has the OmniPoint adjustable actuation switches for per-key control of actuation distance for fine control of your controls
7 has everything the Pro has except for the OmniPoint switches - it comes in red, blue, or brown switch variants instead
the 5 has a hybrid blue switch and also does not have quite as many of the onboard features as the others, for example macros are not saved onboard so you need to have the software running to use them
you also can't get quite as ridiculous with the lighting, it's limited to a smaller number of distinct effects running

Take the keycaps off
Put it in a bag or something, turn it upside and try and shake some dust out
and then use compressed air or a brush for the rest

The arctis pro keeps disappearing from my sound devices section and so my primary output switches to gameDAC chat and it's bad quality. How do I stop this from happening? It also happens when plugging in a controller via USB
It fixes itself after unplugging and replugging but it happens seemingly randomly a lot of the time

@rough forum yeah, plug USB into whatever you want to use the mic with, then use a 3.5mm and plug that into line in on the back of the transmitter thingy

For one, my Rival 600's side grips are horrendous quality.. not even a year old and this is the third pair I'm using, and only have had this for little over 2 months and already starting to peel
My Apex M750 is starting to get faulty LED's, a couple are out of sync and won't even light up in a specific colour spectrum (blue and purple-ish)

Contacted support, asked if there was any chance of getting a different mouse from them since it's silly to go through so many replacement side grips in under a year
just got the standard "here's a RMA code for a replacement grip pack" and my keyboard wasn't even addressed
Having worked in CS myself, not even addressing a customer's issue (even if to only say "sorry about that") is quite appalling IMO
And after their reply with an RMA code, I sent a reply saying they haven't addressed the issue... That was days ago and they're not responding

Hi, i bought a arctis 3 yesterday for my daughter, i'm gaving this issue now where people here all the sounds i hear in my headphone (youtube, twitch, ...) even when i mute the mic. I tried the headset on another pc, and its exactly the same problem, people in discord hear all the sounds i hear. anyone who has any idea how to fix this ? or should i return the headset ?

I took it off, and had an earcup in my hand. Don't ask me how because I've honestly no idea..
The only reason I could think off is that sometimes ill wear it and put my left cup slightly behind my ear (like right before dinner so I can hear when dinner is ready) and that might've put some stress over there but a gaming headset should be able to handle a tornado and especially at this price..
I could prob screw it open myself and just like glue it or smth but lets see if i can get this bish repaired the right way
