well, it runs webgl and uses any graphics card to try to render the game, but... yous gots to know that aim-master is kinda in sub-active/active development, there are complaints of FPS issues and some other issue which is reported. im anxious to check if there is going to be a new version.

@dense trellis they're slightly lighter to press and a lot smoother, from my experience. I really like the switches in my M750...I am curious to try the ones in the Apex Pro (next in wish-list 😛 )

Hi my friend has a steelseries MSI laptop, and has a problem. His number keys 1,2,3 and so on are not writing written numbers but instead changing the RGB colors on his keyboard. We don´t know how to change this, and he can log onto his computer because his password includes a number.

@regal tinsel well...the QX2 are really easy to press and not ideal for writing, so it's not you..it's just that you have to get used to the different experience and it's not easy! 🙂

@stray axle The GameDAC is the Hi-Res source. The APW isn't Hi-Res certified because we couldn't get to that bitrate and quality over the wireless, but the headphones plugged into the GameDAC are essentially identical to plugging the Pro that comes with a GameDAC into it

You can use every Arctis headset with the GameDAC already. @stray axle

For the ProWireless station is a bit different. Is a matter of firmware and signal tuning specific to that headset, the base station wasn't made with compatibility in mind like the GameDAC. You can even use any pair of analog headphones with the GameDAC!

#

And regarding the "Arctis Pro" earcup breaking...they do not break easily...I saw those posts and most of those headphones were cracked on purpose or because of some abusive behaviour...with normal usage and putting them on/removing them they do not get to that point...

I also have a pair of Arctis 3 for travelling and they are still like new after 15months

It’s an official Arctis accessory. On the SS website is stated that works with every Arcits headset and with analog headphones as well. The volume dial is impossible that does nothing, because the GameDAC acts as a audio card on windows, so it will work anyway, you could have issues with the RGB lightning if you use it with the non pros...so if you plan to control the RGB lightning it might be worth to get the Pros + GameDAC the next time SS does the 25% discount on the combo...

i think they’re useful to stop you hitting certain keys by accident when you mean yo press others which is a larger issue with linears which omnipoints are

but i dont think its going to be a massive difference so it depends

if you think its worth the difference for that small bonus (and possibility of a different point for typing and so on) get the pro

so really is it worth the idk how much money to go from Reds to Reds that can be faster or slower (and on a per key basis and more) for you

and that should help u decide

though i think they also have a higher durability which is worth something

its worth the upgrade to me personally, doubly so when they get around to that true analog support huh SS? ;))

I'm playing on a laptop. When i'm home for longer periods I hook the laptop to a bigger Monitor and use a Keyboard(the Apex 150). The laptop's keyboard registers Alt+F even if I'm holding another key before that.

I've made a ticket, but ... knowing how things work in the world, I doubt that anything will be done to help me. I really hope it's some stupid Software thing that could be fixed in 5 minutes... I'll see if they respond.

In the grand scheme of things it's not that big of a problem. It's just that Alt+F is a comfortable combination to use while moving and It'd be a shame if it's unusable.

Could be. I tried many combinations in the Macro editor and sometimes i can press ten at one time depending on the order and sometimes only 4 at once until i hit these certain combinations.

@verbal axle well, it's a limit of the membrane keyboard design, there's no membrane keyboard able to give a full key rollover like mechanical ones because of how the technology is.

so my arctis9x headset isn't working, it wont turn off and none of the buttons are working.. also the screw that keeps the left earpiece attached is very loose and i think that might be the source of the problem and idk why any of this is happening the screw was a little loose before but i didn't notice it until maybe a month after i got it and i hadn't used it yet but after i started to use it and the screw got really loose, i have had it for a few months now and it just last night started this issue of not working.. can anyone help?

Well, if I could give a suggestion...you could recycle part of a plastic and thin screen protector meant for smartphones. Just cut out the amount you need and the display will look pretty neat!
If it's like the glass of the GameDAC it's really easy to scratch...I scratched mine with a polishing cloth...since then i use a soft Kleenex + the screen cleaner or the soft side of the cleaning kit which I bought from steelseries.com ...

Well, it was a cotton cloth with hard fibres...those type of screens are not meant to be thrown at a wall...if it can reassure you, the micro-scratches are invisible while using it, you just notice them under sunlight and with the display turned off.

When i first installed it it said "Don't unplug. Installing firmware" but i just wanted to see if i could manually do it like a re-install or something.

The software says that the currently installed firmware is 0.25.0.0 and i don't know if that's good or not cause there's so little information about these things on the net 🙂

Eh. The problem i had is that a certain very short combination on my KB causes ghosting. I wrote to support and initially planned on returning the KB but ultimately i decided to keep it. I just like it. Support responded to my troubleshooting request by pasting RMA instructions. They didn't say anything else.
People here said that it's a hardware thing but i was just wondering about Firmware, you know.

My experience with versions is that if they start with 0.x.x.x they are usually alpha/beta> I was just thonking 🙂

our firmware version numbers vary quite a bit, starting with 0 is not actually uncommon

Console edition has less cables I believe

and the 2019 version is a bit updated, drivers are better tuned, and headband has been adjusted to be more comfortable

Hello. I like using Prism Sync with my keyboard and monitor. I also like the discord app, but it seems impossible to combine light effects? I would like one or a group of keys to change color when I am muted in Discord, but this doesn't seem possible unless I disable Prism. Am I missing something?
