btw one thing you should look into is rocket jump ninja it's a youtube channel check the mouse you have because if it's not a recent one or even if it is, there is a chance you may have a sensor that spins out, which gets really annoying when you start to get good at any fps

@digital pebble wrong. It has 8 cores, 8 threads, and the 8700k has 6 cores and 12 threads; more cores is better than more threads. Also, intel is not struggling, there is just more competition. Before, they had no real competition, so they seemed dominant, which, they were, but now, they are still strong, but they can't just sit around and delay everything to save money and produce easier products, they have to push products out faster to gain back market share, so they are not struggling, that would be what amd was doing before they released their zen architecture, they are just competing, but they are not losing the competition, because they still do things amd can't, and same for amd with regards to intel, so they both have a strong prescence currently. It only seems intel is struggling because they aren't as dominant as before, but that doesn't mean intel is bad. Intel has better clock speeds, and as of recent, can also have equal cores and threads in their flagship cpu, and have much better thermals than last gen. The big thing with amd is that their prices are much more reasonable, they are much more heat efficient than pre-9th gen cpus, and the top threadripper cpu holds some kind of record I'm pretty sure, and intel has not yet surpassed it, I think, but I haven't checked up on that too recently.

The 9700k has more cores, and less threads than the 8700k, which overall makes it more powerful for multitasking and it also has higher clock speed, so it is better for gaming. Higher core count outweighs higher thread count. Simple as that. Anyways about struggling to match amd, they aren't matching amd, like I said, they are having higher clock speed, but less price to performance, etc, just read what I said above, so they aren't really losing or winning completely right now, it's more of an in between. One thing I can say though, is that if amd's next release is as much of a jump as zen 1 -> zen 2, then they will probably be dominating intel. I haven't kept up enough to know if they are planning a new release soon but if they are then intel will definitely be on the backfoot soon because they price tag on the 9900k proves that intel put out most of their resources to keep their market share. What I'm saying is that intel and amd are both pushing out new releases much faster to stomp on each other, and they are both getting stomped but in different areas.

I just got it today, and have been playing around with it for a bit. I'm wondering if any of you have any sort of presets for it (for the Equalizer mostly, but also the other settings on the right hand side of the engine). Specifically, I'm looking for a Music preset, an Immersion preset (for RPGs, basically as realistic as possible with an emphasis on dialogue), a Cinema preset (for movies, tv shows, etc.), an FPS preset, and possibly a Horror preset too (similar to Immersion but maybe with any settings to increase the spooky atmosphere). I know this is a lot, and I've been searching the internet for a while now but haven't come up with what I'm looking for, so I figured I'd check here

It would probably depend on the structure of the wiring underground then, e.g.. if it's copper wiring rather than fibre optic it's likely going to be a lot slower, I live right in the city so I get fibre optic. Have you tried contacting your provider to see if that's available?

Find out the name of your provider and look for a contact number or email, They should be able to advise you on the speeds you can get :)

Certainly vastly superior to Cherry's garbage.

@normal cliff some routers will let you dedicate or prioritize certain devies, you will have to login to your router, and check and see. If so, you can prioritize pretty much any device you want

That is disabled. in the Sound>recording tab the only thing enabled is the Microphone from Steelseries Arctis 5 Chat, and if he has a youtube video playing the microphone is picking the youtube video up. I can faintly hear him in the background.

The headsets are completely identical. The only difference is that the main Arctis 3 product includes the dual 3.5mm extension cable which is needed for some PCs, whereas the Console Edition does not.

I love the Kana mouse shape, it's a classic ambidextrous design and feels great in the hand for extended use. Sadly my original Kana gave out on me after a long period of service, hats off to it. I started perusing the mice on offer, and realised the mouse I was after doesn't exist, from any manufacturer!
I was simply looking for a wireless mouse in the classic Kana-esque design, with type C connection on the mouse for quick reversible plug in charging. I'm really surprised I couldn't find something with these simple features, so maybe there is an opportunity here coming into 2019.
I'm sure not all will agree, but I do believe there's a market for people after a simple design, high quality mouse with these modern features.
