giorno didn't stop the universe reset, but once he was brought into the new universes he wasn't changed at all

when he was brought to the heaven universe, he was fine because heaven only replaces people who died during the acceleration

and when pucci was killed and the universe reverted back, he was fine too as everything went back to normal anyway and he had no connection with pucci unlike the stone ocean gang who got better lives
