Really interesting chapters from Ichi and Otr this week

I wonder if they have the same editor for this to happen

Both manga have their MCs out of commission after letting their sentient power take over for a bit(though Otr's happened more chapters ago than Ichi) and now at the same time, are having their non-MCs take the spotlight in the battles

Though next chapter for Otr is a toss up on whether it'll be Otr focused(since he's in his mind state having a chitchat with the fire spirit) or if it'll show Khuteinn's fight

If it'll be Otr-focused then that pretty much guarantees the fight being off-screened though, hopefully not

Nevermind i saw the match itself now and that definitely gives far more context by itself.

Yokozuna Onosato(blue mawashi) against Maegashira 4 Tamawashi(black mawashi).

Onosato couldn't get a good grip on Tamawashi's belt during the initial clash and because he was aiming for one, had loose footing and Tamawashi pushes him to the edge. With no signs of stopping Tamawashi kept on pushing and as Onosato was about to lose out, he swiftly [and gracefully] side-stepped to his left and Tamawashi's own momentum pushes himself out. As Onosato moved away, he didn't have good footing and thought he might slip and fall as well so he jumps in an attempt to get more airtime in case he might hit the ground or get out of the ring first.

Caught up with I’m the Max Level Newbie at 232 chapters. Now initially the I dropped it at chapter 8 because the MC was a boring jerk but went back to it again due to insistence from friends. Glad I stuck to it haha, it really did get much better beyond the point I dropped it all the way back at chapter 8. It’s still just power leveling slop but it got so much more entertaining now and the comedy got better and is the man draw now for me.

Mostly here for T-Bone haha.

But yeah for those who don’t like the early chapters he does actually get better.

maybe this kinda structure still holds up in japan but it feels like a genuine snorefest

Hero Girl and Demon Lord is fun but theres also nothing to write home about it, its a comedy so I have no fucking clue if its gonna be axed or not, but I like chapters 1 and 2

I hope someone hertz is doing well, very much so enjoying each new chapter of the series

both MCs are getting developed into real characters and not just mechanisms for bits, they still get alot of good bits out though

Makes more sense now that she's the latest volume cover character

What's interesting is there's now a third key party/player here cuz originally it was the zora faction v the Yamato Mori faction but now that ||zora has died, her pawns shouldn't be doing anything now, so nari must be working with a new enemy||

@untold light went back to this and I think I was only a bit wring especially with mado's last prophecy ||being Choujin x batista/nue. Mado really could only see prophecies in relation to Batista X, but not Zora's calamity.
Their prophecies really did diverge, but I expected one to take over the other as a sort of "we'll twist fate" thing, but now seeing that they both happen naturally is cooler.||
