Fading Lights is a Jojo fan project that follows the Invisible Baby from Diamond is Unbreakable, Shizuka Joestar, in the year 2017, now 18. Staying in New York City, Shizuka lives with her brother, Josuke Higashikata, who has recently become Joestar Enterprise's new CEO due to the death of Joseph Joestar. Shizuka's adventure leads her into a deadly situation, literally.

Shizuka Joestar
Stand: Porcelain
Age: 18
Birthday: December ??, 1998

Shizuka Joestar is the main “Jojo” of the part. Adopted by Joseph Joestar after being found in Morioh in 1999, with no parent in sight, she was also barely in sight as well. She lives in New York City with her adoptive brother, Josuke Higashikata. Being that she’s not a Joestar by blood, she has a less dynamic demeanor than that of the rest. Shizuka is more reserved, contrasting the usually extravagant nature of the rest. She solves conflict by analyzing the situation and finding herself 2 steps ahead of her opponent, making up for her stand’s passive ability. Shizuka is the Joestar that’s not a Joestar, so her storyline follows the threat of something that isn’t from the actions of Dio and his followers, it’s truly her own odd escapade.

Ability: Invisibility

Porcelain can be seen to have a very simple ability on the surface. Porcelain allows Shizuka to turn invisible on command, still allowing her to interact with everything. This stand’s passive ability causes Shizuka to have to be more tactical with it. Shizuka can still attack with her stand, however, the stand’s physical power fluctuates depending on how often Shizuka turns invisible, causing it to be weaker with constant invisibility use.

Bonnette Bourre
Age: 19
Birthday: March 8, 1998

Bonnette Bourre has been Shizuka’s friend since high school. She’s quick to anger, with a knack for delinquency, and has no trouble saying exactly what’s on her mind. However, don’t let that fool you. She’s a highly technical fighter, trained in martial arts from a young age. What she fears most is that she lacks 'control', and that it will be the end of everything she holds dear. Behind her rough exterior, she cares deeply for Shizuka, and believes that she is the path to redemption.

Stand Name: Slipknot
Ability: Smoke Manipulation

Slipknot’s ability is simple, it allows Bonnette to utilize smoke in her combat. This stand has aggressive tendencies, basically matching the user. Even though Bonnette likes dealing with problems with her own fists, she’ll definitely need Slipknot to compete with the stand fights coming her way...which might be a bit of a problem.

Name: Josuke Higashikata
Stand: Crazy Diamond
Age: 34
Year of Birth: 1983

Josuke Higashikata now finds himself burdened with the role of CEO of Joestar Enterprises after Joseph's death, and tries his best to keep the business running. While still in Morioh, he was training to become a police officer, but Joseph sent news to Morioh that he needed a successor to run the company in his place, so after accepting the offer, Josuke was flown to NYC to make the transition. Along with running the business, Josuke also has to look after his adopted little sister, Shizuka. Josuke’s relationship with Shizuka is very strong, and the two are family in every sense except blood. Josuke also now has a girlfriend that he’s prepared to propose to... Though things could take a turn for the complicated.

Name: Denise Katria
Age: 28

Denise Katria is Josuke’s current girlfriend. She helps Josuke run his father’s business well, being that he came in suddenly, with no experience. Denise is also a Speedwagon Foundation agent. While having no way to fight the supernatural occurrence, she knows of what stands are, with Josuke explaining any other concepts she didn’t understand.
