fansubs used to be really funny but nowadays they're often better than the official subs put up on sites like crunchyroll
usually because they roll out the official subs so quickly and they dont check for quality and rarely go back to fix shit that's not a super overt mistake (like that time crunchyroll put subs for a completely different anime once)
