Personally I feel like both the Stardust Crusader OPs are the best. Not only sound wise but the way they were presented
Rewatching it made me think a ton and notice a few things which are amazing
For example this subtle effect in Stand Proud, where a 6th star catches up to them foreshadowing 
Or perhaps in End of The World, where it shows this
Polnareff and Joseph live on and are shown on the light side, while weeps Avdol, Iggy, and weeps even more Kakyoin are on the dark side, since they were killed in DIO's mansion
The colouring for this too (kinda gave me some Battle Tendency vibes tho), red showed that Avdol and Iggy didn't make it and Polnareff, being blue, did
Both OPs-- Kakyoin's final emerald splash
This one's the most subtle one yet but in this part of OP2 you can see Jotaro's finger twitch slightly, and the pointy details represent DIO's knives
Every OP showed some foreshadowing and all but I think both stardust crusaders OPs show the most and the best ones

However when I got to the second part of Stardust Crusaders, my life changed.
You see, there was a certain character they introduced, one I am willing to call my true love.
This character is Iggy, a small black and white dog who uses a stand called the fool.
You may ask, why are you so attracted to this “Iggy” character.
And to that, I simply say, we are destined for each other.
I would enjoy for Iggy to fulfill my fantasies of having my feet constantly licked.

when I think of a character being good I think of moments with them that were memorable, and that wouldn't have worked or fit with any of the rest of the cast. just off the top of my head: 1) chill-ly forgiving Polnareff for getting Avdol shot after breaking his nose with an elbow 2) the scatological takedown of mannish boy, calmly and authoritatively explained before he did it 3) showing a specific type of emotional vulnerability during his flashback to Dio enslaving him that is extremely rare among shonen protagonists 4) confidently showing up gamer D'Arby as alpha nerd (which honestly should've allowed him to be the one to defeat him instead of shoehorning Jotaro in but whatever)...
