Y'know, I never really enjoyed Stardust Crusaders while I was watching it, or at least, I always thought the first half was kinda weak. I loved the introduction of stands, but something about part 3 never clicked for me. But now that I'm actually looking back on it all, I think it did a fantastic job of making you feel like it was a trip, like it's almost like you're looking back on summer vacation from years ago. It gives it this sort of... nostalgic feel to it, and that's a feeling that's so rare to find in any medium

imo the first half of SC is still weak, on reflection the later half is decent overall.

Over time I've rewatched parts of SC and I found it more enjoyable than on my first watch. When I fully rewatch it, that will be the "real" result though.

I mean the issue is that Part 3 has a formula one member is in trouble and the other members rescue them and that's why I didn't see jotaro get developed because polnareff was fucking up way to much to the point other people had to save them and I didn't see much from jotaro in part 3 other than he's smart and cool and the only development I saw him get in part 3 was his relationship with the group but that's until the very very end like the last 2 episodes

Don't get me wrong, my pfp is speedwagon (as drawn by the movie's director no less lol) but he isn't really that big of a character, in terms of what he actually does during the events of part 1. If you're mandated to cut the movie to 90 minutes, it's more important to make sure PB makes sense than to include a character whose main contribution is in future parts.
