so i'm just reading through Paper Moon Deception part 3. Very entertaining part and shows how p8 is so dramatically not afraid of lewd, dark comedy

but I just got really shocked after the car crash bit - did Yashuo of all people just get a bodycount?

those two gang members who'd been in the car... the guy who'd been trying to force pills in Yashuo's mouth has his neck bending at a sharp angle during the crash, and the female gang member gets thrown head-first through the windshield and is shown laying face-down on the hood of the car... they look pretty dead. This is just like a couple arcs ago where the old lady eating noodles in her house got seemingly frozen solid and then buried under an avalanche by Born This Way and was never shown again... where I legitimately cannot tell if we're supposed to assume those people are dead or if they just survived somehow because if they didn't the story would make a bigger deal of it

(side note: I still hate Yashuo's outfit. but Paisley Park is fantastic. Interesting ability, great visual design)
