What do you guys think about the possibility of the Head Doctor being a split personality of Tooru that he manifests physically separate from him.

The Head Doctor is trying to get credit for a world-changing product, like Tooru did back in the day. The HD's stand seemed to constantly work in just the right way to give Tooru and Yasuho moments together (such as not reappearing until Yasuho could help him with the choking boy). And, moreover, Tooru commented about a person called "Anger" always coming alongside someone called "Anxiety". I think maybe Tooru is "Anxiety" and the HD was "Anger".

Could be full of shit though, seems like a bit of a stretch

Tooru is clearly going to be a villain, and he's thematically powerful. He represents this "draw of the past" that has been present in jojolion. I think Yasuho is representative of the bonds Josuke made as josuke and how he'll need to learn to prioritize those over these things from his past he barely remembers. As he said in chapter 92, he is "Josuke Higashikata". not Yoshikage or Josefumi.

Tooru is threatening to take this symbol from him, and is himself something from Yasuho's past that's trying to get her to abandon the bonds she's made recently.
