Because at least I assume that events happen at the same time or very close together if the scene cuts to a new one without saying the time has changed

So do you think the scene with mitsuba and joubin happened before Josuke and the others got to the hospital?

Would make no sense in storytelling to do that, apart from to confuse the reader (which could be the case)

when I first read part 5 I could tell doppio was the boss' alt ego but was that not obvious for other people
