There's something about jojolion where we just spend way too many pages on a cutaway from the action

Im looking back and the scene of yasuho explaining rokakaka and "we're under attack" takes 10 pages

The attack itself just stops for some reason to let yasuho talk with mitsuba for so long

The attack itself is pretty underwhelming

We know it can control you to some extent but the real "effect" is never really shown

So it just looks like a bunch of pebbles rolling on you

The doctor assembling himself from the pebbles is cool

But his introduction is just strange and all over the place

There's just no stakes, I dont feel like any of the characters are in danger

The only casualty is a baby that we never see and is basically "remembered" at the end of the chapter

The only real damage I can think of is Yasuho bashing her own head in and stabbing her eye out

Somehow still being able to use the eye afterword
