and the altDiego's THE WORLD isn't the same as the original The World, it's maximum time-stop is approx. 5 seconds and because altDiego can use it in succession despite being human, there seems to be no backlash from using timestop

there's really no same-same anything from the sbr-verse to the original universe

Okay this all confused me but the sbr universe is different from the other universes. So valentine found a diego that was passing by which happened to have had the world. The sbr is its own thing and the characters are different meaning theur stands are different too. With the multiverse theory it is possible for different possibilities. Plus that world is not the same as the origunal universe so nothing has to be the same.

Quick question did araki say that the sbr universe is different from the ireneverse or whatever its called if not what if to continue where part 6 ended he had to tell everything that leads up to part6 forbackstory and clarify whats new like part 8 continues from part7 and theres back story to characters.

Araki stated in an interview on ASB that Josuke4 and Josuke8 are in two universes not connected by time and space

What he means is that the original universe, and Irene-verse by extension because that's just another universe based from the original but everything that's happened up to part 6(meaning parts 1-5) remains same as is just with very minor changes, and the SBR-verse would never meet at all.

Kira is practically the main personality in a sense, like with Doppio and diavolo. Josefumi's features were combined with Kira's and it created a whole new person with a slightly different personality than both of them

I believe more of Kira came from the way Josuke handles himself and with how he'll approach confrontation but he got his compassion and his friendly demeanor from Josefumi

But in a whole sense Josuke is his own person and his background doesn't define who he can be

And really i think that's kind of a meta commentary on the Jojos as characters, while they derive alot from the Jojo's that came before them in the past they are all different and unique and it makes them a whole new thing to love in this old franchise

its been done in many other products of writing

that doesnt mean there arent inherently bad people like damo, but if there is any primary antagonistic figure in the story it would be strange to introduce one now
