theory: Josefumi is actually SBR Joseph, grandfather of Yoshikage Kire-Joestar. Joseph, while young and has Holy still a baby left at the hands of Suzie Q, had some means to travel forwards into the current time where he is taken in by the Kujo family. As a way to avoid suspicion of being Holy's father and Suzie's husband, he has changed his name to Josefumi. Now he is in this time to help out his grandson Yoshikage. Events happen and now here we are.
