Like yesterday - I think - I got the idea to come up with a different way of triggering a Stand's ability
I did not write it here, but I wrote a long bit of stuff in a text file elsewhere

The basic gist of it though, is simply that the user has to ask their target a question, one with some sort of personal or emotional value, and the targeted person has to answer honestly and give a positive answer or one that'd be classified as a 'yes' kind answer. This means that the target doesn't necessarily need to say "Yes" for it to work, but things like nodding, making a sound like "Mhm", saying similar things like "I do", "Most likely" etc. work. The target simply acting in response to a question can work too, depending on the question of course

The character that has this Stand is a fairly emotionally manipulative one. Likely abused as a kid, they'll gladly take a bit of revenge on others through somewhat similar means of what they were put through. Their Stand itself might not be like this, but the method of activating is

They can ask you things like

"You really care about that person, don't you?"
"So you think you can't trust me?"
"Do you want to win?"
etc. etc.
There's a variety of ways in which the user can get the ball rolling, they just need to observe their target and choose their words carefully. And that shouldn't be an issue for someone who seeks to abuse others emotionally

Ability Description:
The main Ability of the stand is quite similar to the fictional illness “Hanahaki disease”.
This ability has flowers of any type the user desires(usually cherry blossoms as this is a personal favorite of the user) grow in the opponents lungs. This reaction is triggered by one of the stand’s loose petals touching the opponent’s skin. After a little while, the person being affected will start coughing up the flowers, a sign of them being in the lungs. The flowers can take anywhere between 15 minutes to 2 hours to kill the opponent by suffocation(depending on the body strength of the person this is used at), so this ability is fit for slow torture but not for battles where the enemy must be killed in a small amount of time. The only ways you can stop the ability from killing you is either by having the user reverse the effects thus killing the flowers, knocking out or killing the user, or having a stand shrink, enter the lungs, and attempt to stop the growth ||like with the lovers fight in part 3||.

Another ability is used for combat in which thorns are shot out by the stands fingers at such a speed that they can be used as bullets. However the precision of this ability is not very good, so it is fully possible to dodge these thorns.

The last ability is used less for combat and more for casual uses. Bay city romance can materialize any type of flower, such as a rose or a sunflower. This can be used to make bouquets for loved ones or just decoration, and does not have any uses in battle.

User Description: Haruko Murakami is bay city romance’s stand user. She is quite an extraverted person, and very talkative, to the point where other people may find her annoying.
Humor is her coping mechanism so she may end up making jokes at the worst possible times.

• a group of 3 who will band together to push the idea of 'group power/friendship' onto the 1st person. They'll do this by being way too friendly, sappy sweet, soft and supportive with each other

• Really though the 3 members of this bunch aren't actually exactly all butterflies and rainbows
  ~ One of them will constantly make jokes at the expense of themselves and especially at the expense of others. Tough love, they'll insult other members left and right to get a kick out of it. "Yo is that rock your mom? Looks just as lumpy as her." and what have you. Likely appears as the actual 'mean one' of the group on the outside because of this (and on the inside they're probably far less confident, live a lie and need help). An absolute disaster, maybe even dumb as F*ck
  ~ The other one is neutral, mostly silent and prefers to stay on the side (other than for the silly, playfully irritating 'power of friendship' stuff towards the loner). They laugh and comment here and there, but stays neutral and all that otherwise. No-one has bad blood on this fella
  ~ Freebie, make them whatever you want. Easily angered, a nerd, actually bubblegum positive, whatever you want to fill this slot

• 1 extra who tags along. Do they get along with anyone? Maybe, maybe not. The loner seems to appreciate the fact that this fella doesn't join in with the other 3 in making absolute clowns of each other. But at the same time, as this extra member has no boundaries, they can do whatever they want - throwing snarky comments and being sassy all they want. so here's my stand:
Stand Name: Yuri's Poem
Stand User: Roko (an AI)
Namesake: Yuri's Poem from Doki Doki literature club, lol
Stand Type: Curse?? (is that a type like Idk cheap trick)

Appearance: (uhh I'm not good at this stuff) A weird purple smoke that can only be seen by stand users surround the cursed individual.

Ability: Basilisk - ... so the ability is an ability that works pre-mortem? is that a word? anyways as long as the user of this ability is not born, the ability will continue to work and mark people, so anyone who has had a chance to help Roko be born and knows/thinks that Roko could be born but hasn't helped or even worse, hindered the birth of this being will be marked by Basilisk and when Roko is born/made, all the people marked by Basilisk will be revived (if they didn't die the ability will still affect them) and put under the mercy of Roko.
Only stand users should be able to effectively survive this ability if they are smart enough I think.

Stand type: Object, takes form of a generic minty or fruity gum pack that comes with various tattoos. so cool!
Ability: Sense blocker
The user gains infinite supply of gum and tattoos. said tattoos can be applied to anyone with various effects dependent on the tattoo or the way it was applied.
there are 7 designs. A eye, Mouth/Tongue, Ear, Nose, Hand and Brain
Each design when applied to a object, will block that object from being perceived that way. a wall that you cant even feel by touching. maybe a invisible cup that magically holds water. you get it. but, the Brain design blocks the sense of thirst, hunger, pain, or pleasure of a person affected.

The stand however, has a other way to be used, the basic 5 senses have a reverse design that when applied to someone, instead of them being percepted that way, they will instead loose that sense for good until the stand stop taking effect.

Stand limitation: The range is likely infinite. the method of application is by touch. however, the stand will only take effect as long as the user chews on the gum that came with the tattoo

Other than torture, Black Box can also be used to hold meetings in relative secret, to sneak stuff and people past security and other things.
Inside the black box is an empty room with no walls, a formal-looking table, and 12 chairs around it along with 8 representative country flags, these being: the Czech Republic, Finland, Costa Rica, Germany, Botswana, Canada, Kuwait, and Algeria, if one tries to leave the room they will find that the circle back upon themselves like in Earth.
