do you know if that would be easy for integrating vue as well?

Breeze and jetstream(inertiajs) do use vue, so your guess?

the only thing is im coming from homestead/vagrant, not sure if thats going to be an issue. we are trying to change as little as possible for our dev environments

you could try on a fresh project with breeze install

tbh, I don't think there will be an issue as long as the setup is correct
