Hey Trailmaker!
Please read and understand EVERYTHING in this message before proceeding with testing.
Through the last years, controller players have been struggling with the UI navigation, specifically in the builder. To improve that experience, we are experimenting with leaving our old controller UI navigation behind and try how a Gamepad Virtual Cursor/Mouse-Emulation Cursor would work in Trailmakers (where you can use the left stick of the controller to control a sort of "cursor" you use to navigate the UI).
We want you to test this navigation feature so we can get a rough idea how well it works in the hands of the players. Try to keep your build small to you ensure you have time to experiment with the Paint Shop (where players can change colors and add decals to blocks) and the Block Configurator (where you can configure the block settings).
What you will experience is a simple implementation of the new navigation. We are interested in feedback of the new virtual cursor and bugs related to the virtual cursor. Nothing else. Our goal is to know if this is the right direction and we should keep working on it, or if it's not the right direction at all.
Please use one of the two tags when making a post:
Feedback
Bug
We are only interested in bugs related to the virtual cursor.
MAKE BACK-UPS OF YOUR STUFF
Weird stuff can happen when you enter an experimental branch. One of those things is that your blueprints can get wiped.
PLEASE for your own sake, back-up your blueprints and save-games in case this happens.
